It will be interesting to see how Days handles their scenes now.

On Y&R and B&B, the characters basically sit across tables from one another, or one sits on a couch while the other person sits on a chair across the room. Or a group of a few people will look like they're casually standing apart in a restaurant, office, etc.

You can also tell they're doing their own hair and makeup, as they look more natural and not all "soap opera" with extremely styled hair and pounds of makeup for the camera.

I have watched a few scenes of Y&R and B&B. The scenes look awkward because the two characters are standing across the room from each other having a conversation. Or like Just Samantha said, sitting across a table from one another. Some were intense and emotional scenes, yet the characters still stay more than 10 feet from each other. At least it appears to be 10 feet. Maybe it is less. If the actors are being tested for COVID-19, seems that if the actors are negative they could stand a normal distance during a scene (3 to 4 feet) and make it appear natural. They don't have to kiss or get really close, I get that. But it appears on other soaps they are really more than 6 feet apart.
