I remember that scene with Sami and Allie when Alison Sweeney (Sami) flubbed the line and said "here, go see your cousin Jennifer" instead of Aunt Jennifer. Alison even tweeted that she flubbed it and due to the one-take rule, they just kept going.
 
I remember being really angry with NBC for not acknowledging Macdonald Carey's (Tom) death in the credits when he passed. And then when they did the Emmys that year he wasn't recognized either.
 
They did, at the end of the March 23, 1994 episode. They showed his portrait at the end, then faded to black.

He was recognized during the Daytime Emmy awards that year. The in memoriam segment during the regular Emmy awards doesn't include the folks most known for daytime soaps.
