I'd say that given all the information you needed to impart, that qualifies as a mini update. I am glad that you were where you needed to be, and that you have plans in place to visit your side of the family soon. I have very limited experience dealing with special needs adults, but I know it can be quite a challange. I do agree that you were very much needed there at that time. I am aslo very glad that you are at peace with the way things happened.
