Taylor and EJ are at the pier talking about the scarf she dropped. Would he like her to show him what he can do with a scarf? He wraps it around her, pulls her to him and leans in to kiss her. All of a sudden EJ comes to (he was daydreaming) and calls someone. EJ is shown telling someone that he needs to talk to them now. EJ gets off the elevator. He needs Lexie to do him a favor. She cannot tell anyone. He wants Lexie to be a reference to get Taylor a job in New York. Oh! So he wants his wife's sister to leave Salem? Why is that? Why? She is his sister in law and needs a job. He is trying to help. Theo likes Taylor a lot. They made a connection. She doesn't want EJ to ship her out of town because he has the hots for her. She is his sister. Not some flunky. She saw the way he looked at Taylor at his own wedding. Everyone did. Theo is not the only one who made a connection with Taylor. Admit it. Ok. Fine. It is driving him absolutely insane. Wow! His feelings for Taylor are making him insane? Insane! He doesn't want Nicole to find out. Will she please call her friend? If he is so sure having Taylor move to another state will help him forget about her then why doesn't he do it himself? Because if he does that and Taylor finds out, she will come right back her just to prove a point. Lexie comments that it means she has a backbone. Please? No! She will not help him rearrange a woman's life because she makes him feel things that aren't convenient to his master plan. She says she is fond of Taylor right? Nicole answers the door and Taylor wants to know what is up. She sounded serious. In walks Faye. She is sorry she couldn't make it to the wedding. Nicole didn't know she was coming. She just showed up and said she needed to talk to both of them. She is so happy her and Nikki are in the same town because she thinks they are going to need each other. Why? Faye tells them she couldn't come to their wedding cause she was in the hospital. They sent her home cause there is nothing more they could do for her. Cardiomyopathy (spelling?). It means an enlarged heart. THere is nothing they can do? He did put her on a bunch of medication. She is not really going to die right? The doctor told her that she should sign up with a nursing service and have them monitor her heart. The medication could help. But he also said that her condition could cause an arythmia. An irregular heart beat. That could be fatal. At any moment. She is not gonna die Nicole keeps saying. She married a DiMera. They will find the best doctors. She is not going back to Cleavland. She is staying there. In the guest house. She will only have to see them if she wants to. Taylor wants her to do it. It would be lovely but she can't. She thinks that she would be lonely in Salem. Nicole will fix that. Taylor can move in too! What? She can be with mom around the clock. Taylor has that dog poo look again. Nicole tries to convince her to stay. Taylor says no. There is no way she can live there. Why the hell not? Faye says she is not crazy about the idea neither but Nikki does have a point. She is not working right now and has nowhere to live. Brady is on the phone and is telling someone that since when does Titan Industries care whether or not something is legal. He doesn't care. Just make it happen. Enter Victor. Brady hangs up. Bad day? Nothing he can't handle. To Victor he looks like someone who is plans are falling apart right before his very eyes. They stare each other down. Victor tells him it is a shame that he never learned to play chess. It teaches you strategy, how to plan...instead of just winging up or waking up in the morning seeing that you have been screwed. Brady tells him that Titan is not a game. He had one ace and he played it. Too bad he didn't have a strategy as to what to do next. Always better to face defeat like a man or do it his way and have a drink. But whatever he does, Titan will be Victor's again. He tells Victor he keeps making one mistake over and over again. He keeps underestimating Brady. Victor wants to know how long this game is going to go on for? Until he wins Brady says. He thought Victor would be proud of him by now. You want to feel powerful? Fine. But why is it necessary to put Victor out to pasture. Why doesn't he make Victor his senior advisor? He can keep him from running the company into the ground. They both know that wouldn't work. First thing he would do is have Brady's secretary poison his cup while he organized his work. Has he seen the latest profit and loss sheet? They are far from being run into the ground. If he cannot be proud of Brady then he should be proud of himself because he is the man who made him who he is. Victor tells him that what is wrong with him is that no matter how wheeling and dealing he does to get back at Victor, he still thinks of himself as a two bit drunk who cannot hold on to a woman. Not even a low life money grubbing **** like Nicole. Brady tells Victor that his problem is that he is so in love with the legend of Victor Kiriakis that he doesn't see what is going on. He is just an old man who lost his grip. Maggie walks in to hear Brady yelling at Victor and tells him to stop it right now. Both of them. They look at her. What the hell is wrong with them?
