Just an interesting aside.......Being curious, I looked up both Jake & Kate's "ages".........he is supposed to be 46, she is supposed to be 70.
In real life, the actors are........Brandon Barash 41 (Jake), Lauren Koslow (Kate) 68.
Kate was in her 40s, when she first appeared, the mother of the older Austin & Billie, plus the older teen, in military school, Lucas. That was 1996.
Yep, nothing to do with anything, but tho I personally know couples where the the woman has been 10-15 years older......25 seems a bit of a stretch. Isn't Kate a great-grandmother?? Yep, it is a soap, so they say, anything goes.
