Charlie totally I feel is going to be the rapist! He already is seemingly going to date Claire, and a spoiler showed Charlie going after Tripp after sitting down with Allie, her telling Charlie what happened. Charlie already had mentioned to Claire if she wanted to get "adult" drinks, Claire didn't want to drink.
My speculation. Charlie probably saw Tripp drag Allie to her place from the club and followed them. As soon as Tripp left, Charlie walks in Allie's unlocked apartment, had his way with her. Saw Tripp left that note on the desk and figured he'd get the blame from Allie.
So I feel Charlie set up Tripp in Allie's mind. That's why I see Charlie attacks Tripp next week after talking to Allie about what happened! To make sure that Tripp keeps the blame and suspicion away from him! Bleugh, he's a creep!
