Where is Hope?

I got used to Cady McClain as a replacement Jennifer. If they get a veteran actor who does good work and give it time, I could get used to a new Hope. It would be less annoying than the backbends they do to explain things like why she wouldn't come home to see Doug or to see her daughter who'd been missing and then brain injured. I know they allegedly saw each other in Africa or whatever, but it's silly. They don't have to write extended storylines for Hope, but having an actress who is on call to recur as the character when it makes sense would be wonderful.

I fully agree, despite what I said about recasting rules, this Doug-in-peril story doesn't play with his only functional child not around. We don't even get scenes of Julie frantic that she can't reach Hope.

@robinsnest hahahaha you're right! yes, yes, she'd have to have lunch with Hope and shop in the afternoon. too busy still in bed for breakfast.
