we would honestly fall for some of the scams that show up in our e-mail boxes. We all have probably gotten the ones that want to give us millions of dollars from some foreign bank, where the owner has died, no relatives, and this bank VP wants to share it with us, just give them our name, address, bank name, numbers, etc. LOL
And then there are those that talk of packages that were unable to be delivered from UPS, or Fed. Express, or our order from a famous company with which we have never have done business, has been returned, or we owe $$$ or something. LOL
Just got, IN the Spectator mail box, an e-mail from "FAX" notifying us we have an incoming fax just received. Mind you, the Spectator has no fax number/machine, etc. But this contained an attachment, which was only 53 pages, in a zip file. I could not stop laughing.
The return addy was a "no reply" one.....(I am guessing they are purporting to be an outfit that will receive your faxes and mail them to you). Honestly, this was sooooo ridiculous.......who would open any attachment from someone or some outfit they don't know?
