WILL'S DEATH EPISODE EARNS "DAYS" ITS EMMY WIN FOR MUSIC
"Days of Our Lives" won the Outstanding Music Direction and Composition category at the Daytime Emmys for the first time since 1997. This year's "Days" submission was Episode # 12693 (airdate 10/9/15), the episode when Ben killed Will. 90 percent of the episode featured an original score, and 80 percent of the music cues were recorded with a live 43-piece orchestra, conducted by "Days" composer D. Brent Nelson, over the course of 3 sessions. Congratulations to the entire music team on their Emmy win!
