Kayla will be making choices, it seems. LOL. Wonder how many of these newly "engaged" will actually make it to the altar. And how many of our Salemites will be "chosen" to perform the ceremonies. After all, we have Marlena, Justin, Abe, instead of the normal minister, judge or JP. Salem no longer has memorable weddings, do they? And then, who will come in to stop/break up which wedding, & for what reason?
 
Monday May 25:
Eric asks Nicole to marry him! [Before agreeing to marry the sourpuss, Nicole ought to insist that he get a real job. If ex-mental patient Ben can find steady employment, why can't the washed-up priest?]

Wednesday May 27:
Jack lays into Gabi. [Why is he wasting his time? Half of Salem has already ripped into Gabba-Gabba to no good effect. Harsh rebukes just roll off her like water off the proverbial duck's back.]

Thursday May 28:
Ciara helps Ben out of another dangerous situation. [Again? The perils of Ben are starting to get as tiresome as his bedtime adventures with Ciara.]
Justin visits Adrienne’s grave to ask her permission to marry Kayla. [Does she give him an answer?]

Friday May 29:
John rips into Victor for what he did to Brady. [Fie on John. Doesn't he have anything better to do now that he's been saved from the Big Zero than joining the long line of people who've dumped on poor, grouchy Vic?]

Given Jenny's tendency to worry, worry, and then worry some more, is this really wise? Over the years she's probably run all sorts of sensationalized news stories from the Sunshine State in her Spectator, which means that she'll probably soon be fretting about the following.
  • A Category 5 hurricane will blow ashore and obliterate Abigail's clinic.
  • Rising sea levels will wash Abigail and her clinic into the ocean.
  • An alligator will wander onto the clinic's lawn and eat several patients, including Abigail.
  • Abigail and her entire clinic will be swallowed up by a giant sinkhole.
  • A giant Burmese python will emerge from the Everglades and swallow Abigail whole.
  • One of Florida's many retirees, an elderly person who should no longer be driving, will run down Abigail.
Therefore, wouldn't the traditional choice of ailing Salemites -- a nice clinic in dull, safe Switzerland -- have been a better choice?
 
Rafe shot?????? Who takes care of David? Ben? Hmmmmmm! More sadness on Days. Abigail leaving. This gives me the idea, perhaps Abigail character will be replaced with someone new playing this character. I will miss Kate Mansi (Abby). :cry:

I saw Greg Vaughan (Eric) in a Hallmark movie with Alison Sweeney (Sami). He was such a nice character, strong, brave, sweet and funny. I wish they would make Eric like that. Days could use that kind of man especially since they’re losing Rafe. It’s such a sad thing they’ve made Eric such a unpleasant character. He was pretty nice when he was a priest.
