I had seen that pic with Gabi injecting Jake right through his jacket, which is even worse than Dr. Rolf injecting through the hair, but since that was in a dream scene of Jake's today, I can let it go.
I don't always purchase a pregnancy test, when I'm late but when I do, I like to take it out and wave it around in public so everyone can see I'm a dumb-butt about personal protection.

I'm hoping at some point Lani mentions that they were using some protection. I'm just tired of pregnancy tropes.
With Kristen it made sense, since she was between 50-100 years old, not to be using protection, so I'll give them a mulligan on that one.

Plus with Kristen, she was going through fertility treatments with Rolf to undergo IVF. She just happened to get pregnant the "old fashioned" way by boinking Brady.

My birth control failed me, but come on, 100+ women in Salem have gotten pregnant and then don't understand how it happened.
They need to have a sex education class for the women when they turn 18 years old so its fresh in their heads to use protection. Well, Maybe they don't sell protection in Salem!
