Oh, Jennifer????

When Jen said today that all those people couldn't break them up, I wondered what planet shes on, as she and Daniel broke up during every one of those stories.

What really made me mad is that she seemingly does not care that JJ is having a rough time. She's not asking what she can do to help her son or if Daniel thinks there's any chance JJ will turn to drugs again or even, is my son OK? All she cares about is that JJ went to Daniel instead of her. After all the behavior problems JJs had in the past couple years she wants to cut off a major source of his support just to feed her ego. :angry: :angry: :angry:
 
What SarahBeth said in posts # 17 and 19. Daniel doesn't owe Jennifer any explanation for anything. She wants their breakup to not affect his relationship with JJ and Abigail, but gets upset when JJ confides in Daniel? She wants explanations about why Daniel is around Kristen? Did she give him any heads-up that she was going to visit Kristen to give her condolences about EJ in person? Nope. She did that without consulting Daniel or asking his permission, but expects him to consult her about his actions? No, Jennifer, that's not how a relationship works and that's definitely not how a break-up works.
 
I never thought I'd say it...but I DON'T like her character now. I've defended Jennifer in the past...but now she's become a real grown up BRAT. I don't understand why these writers think everyone is a shrew, and dare I use HAG? LOL.

So few of my former favorite people have redeeming qualities. You can write drama, but don't rewrite a character. There are too many loyal fans out there who hate the about face so many of our beloved characters have done. Okay rant is over.

Now, as far as Daniel is concerned, yeah...he's made a lot of mistakes. But Jennifer is acting like a little Chihuahua nipping at Daniels heels. Too much whiney bark. Yip yip yip yip... ANYway. I would soooo much rather see Daniel mend fences with Nicole, and see them in a relationship. Nicole deserves a whole truckload of goodness in her life. Jennifer needs to go see a shrink.
 
Great comment everyone. It's great to see all of you agree with my post. Many ugly changes have been made to Jennifer and I believe, Jen should go on some kind of retreat to get her mind in order. Surely this woman needs to rethink the damage she has done to her relationship with Daniel. ShaSha
 
I agree with ya, Sha. I sure didn't like the back and forth stuff with her and Daniel. While he is no saint, I'm more on his side than ever before. Jennifer behaved like a selfish egotistical brat, and wouldn't let the guy talk. I'm done with her. She needs to be put in her place, big time. Let Daniel move on with someone new. I would even be on board for a pairing with Eve. At least she acts like a mother who wants best for her kids. Jen, BAH. She has Hortonitis - better than everyone sanctimonious righteous attitude.

:clap:My sentiments exactly. She is definitely the center of her own little universe. Daniel has told her JJ is having a really tough time, and yet, she makes it all about her. That should have been enough. Daniel didn't need, and certainly didn't have to, tell her everything. She should have ran home and talked to her son. But as usual, instead of doing that, she stares at a picture of herself and Daniel and tears it up and then leaves.

Yeah, I know, Laura needs her. But you want to bet that while she's away, she still won't talk to JJ ? And it would be so easy to have JJ mention he talked to his mom about Jack and it helped, but nooooooo... Surely something will happen (I speculate : Eve and JJ get together :sick: ) and once it does, Jennifer will once again make it all about her. I can see it now : "I can't believe you slept with MY son to get back at ME, Eve !". :angry:
 
Jenn has had issues with Daniel and the other women he has been with ever since the moment Nicole told her that she and Daniel were in a relationship. Jenn had Daniel so high up on a pedestal then that she even said it "Daniel would never be with someone like you" straight to Nicole's face. Her mission became "I must save Daniel" and she truly believed that she did. But as soon as she thought he did something he shouldn't have with another woman she decided that he has bad judgement and can't be trusted.

Their was no reason for her to decide that Daniel had been getting it on with Theresa. Everything that happened that night was protected by doctor/patient confidentiality but Jenn wouldn't accept that then, let her imagination run wild and blabbed it to the point of everyone at the hospital believing that Daniel got it on with Theresa only because he wanted to punish her.

Jenn just keeps playing the martyr card every time she can't accept her own failings. She played it with the Daniel/Theresa incident, with the Eve's lawsuit issue, yesterday when addressing Daniel having private conversations with JJ as well as Kristen and boy I hope we don't get a martyr card if JJ does something with Eve.

But I don't think that JJ will do anything with Eve. Yet if he does, Eve's reasoning will be to show Paige that JJ is a dog and have nothing to do with punishing Jenn. However, after the fact, Eve will see that as a happy consequence.
 
Daniel's conversations with Kristen are a guessing game about A PATIENT. He also thinks it was Theresa who whacked John but no proof. And Daniel is NOT going to tell Jennifer his idea, and that Kristen believes it, too, because, first, it deals with a patient. Next, he has no proof, just his own conclusions drawn because of little conversations. (And Brady being a good friend, that he just cannot imagine attacking his father, whether drunk or not).
He owes NOTHING to Jen, they had not been seeing each other, his business is his business, and very, very obviously....Jennifer cannot accept doctor/patient confidentiality, or can respect trust between friends.

Her mother is a shrink, remember? Maybe Jen will get some good advice, if she at all decides to confide in her mom.

Indeed. And yesterday, when Jennifer told Daniel that he paid her back for that, I was like : When ? :confused: If anything, after Jennifer started all those nasty rumors about Theresa and Daniel, Dan should have sued her for defamation. Now, THAT would have been paying Jennifer back. And the shrew would have deserved it.

I just still can't believe Daniel appears to be heart broken over this witch. And I can't believe these writers, or TIIC, still think they are all that ! Want to bet they will keep shoving this horrible couple down our throats ? :sick: Because I doubt, while I wish it, that they are done for good. And no matter what is done with Daniel and Jennifer now, Jennifer Horton is ruined, period.

And if Daniel gets it on with Kristen (speculation on my part), he's equally ruined. I'm tired of seeing people lusting and having sex with abusers/tormentors. :sick: This is not entertainment. :beat:Even for a soap !

And let me add, if I may, that Jenn showed Daniel she was not trustworthy with a secret when she went and blabbed to Eric before getting to discuss it with Daniel. Jenn's a proven blabber whether what she's blabbed about was something she decided was fact, an actual fact or an unproven theory. She blabs and she doesn't listen. Yet she wonders why her son isn't coming to her with an issue.

Also, JJ is an adult male who doesn't want to discuss his sex life with his mother; that's what a male friend confidant is for. And for that matter, Abby sure as hell didn't go to Jenn when she was screwing EJ either. Abby didn't talk to Jenn about it until it was completely exposed.
 
I have to agree with pretty much everyone's comments. Those of us who have watched for a long time remember a Jennifer who was pleasant and even entertaining to watch, when paired with Jack. However, this shrew is nothing but annoying. I wanted to smack her myself when she went off on Daniel about the JJ thing.
 
The funniest thing that Jenn said was something to the effect that when she gets back from her mom's she is going to get a job somewhere else and Daniel didn't argue that!!!!

Jenn is so full of crap; there's no way she'll leave the hospital that her grandfather put on the map. She needs to be sure to leave off "having heated personal arguments at the nurses station" in the qualifications on her resume.

For a while now, Jennifer has been throwing accusations and passing judgments on others, all the while not having all the facts. She did it with Jack, when she accused him of following her around on Halloween (I still wish we would know who the Halloween figure was... though I suspect the writers don't even know themselves, thus they dropped the whole thing). Jennifer didn't even bother to call JJ to confirm that Jack had indeed been in London visiting with him. And she did it to Daniel, by accusing him of having an affair with Theresa (to hurt HER), and now, she accuses Daniel of having a thing with Kristen.

Jennifer is also a stalker who doesn't know when to stop harassing people. When Jack died saving their daughter, Jennifer barely shed a tear, before she proceeded to harass a very pregnant Nicole. And not once did Jennifer take part of the blame for the fiasco that followed. Nope, she was too busy shining her crown, as were all the good Salem citizens.

She's also a very controlling woman. She keeps following Daniel around, barging in on him, deciding what's best for him, what he should think, what he should do, how he should do it (the hand tremor thing was horrible as she never once stopped to take Daniel's wishes and worries into consideration) and when Daniel doesn't do what she wants, she does it herself, thus she told Eric about Nicole's lies.

Seriously, if Jennifer were a man, she would be perceived as a violent abuser. But since she's Jennifer Horton, I guess she can do as she pleases. :beat:

But seriously, I think both of them are idiots. It was stupid of Daniel to dump Jennifer over the truth about Nicole, but I blame bad writing for that. He should've had just never reunited with her after how she believed he slept with Theresa. He was also kind of dumb for putting everything with her off--she was right in saying he never tried to work things out. It's a shame, because I used to think they were good for each other when they were first together.

Jennifer, however, has reverted into her terribly annoying, shrewish alter ego, Haggifer. I LOVED when Daniel called her out in doubting him over the Theresa debacle. But NO!!!! She can never accept responsibility for how she acts. Jack is dead, as someone here said. She should be glad JJ had a good male figure in his life. And if JJ wants to come to his mom for anything he will, or she can ask him what is going on in his life. Instead, she goes behind his back and gossips with Daniel. Totally immature and inappropriate. I, for one, can't wait till she finds out about the Dan-Kritter hookup. She'll blow up for sure! But the hag deserves it.
