Thanks Poirot. Those are the best donuts since I can't eat them.

Ice finally came to my area. There are only patches of ice on roads
around the big town, but church was cancelled anyway. When I got my paper
at 6. I walked in the grass. It was crunchy. When I went back in, I saw ice on
my driveway. I'm suppose to out in the afternoon. Maybe it will be cancelled.

I still had to walk Goldie. The streets and sidewalks seemed clear. We didn't
go far because I was afraid there might be icy spots.

I hope everyone has a good Sunday.

Happy Sunday.

Poirot: I had a Bavarian creme filled donut with chocolate panache this morning! And it was sugar-free, yummy.

Kat: stay safe in those icy conditions.

We continue to watch the Olympics as I sigh at every snow-filled landscape. Go USA!

Wishing everyone a peaceful day.

Good afternoon everyone. We're having a heat wave at 38*, freezing rain sleet, and heavy thick fog from the rain hitting all of that snow. So far my basement is dry.

I did a lot of cooking yesterday so didn't need to do that today. Laundry is done, but I didn't make it to church. I had such a hard time driving to Walmart, that I gave up and came straight home after that.

I don't know if I'll be checking in tomorrow or not. I have meetings at 7:15 and 8:30. Then my friend Regina is taking me to my appointment with the retinal specialist. My nerves are getting the best of me today. Maybe it would have been better if I didn't know what was going on tomorrow. He's doing the tomography (similar to an MRI) to see how deeply the cancer has penetrated the layers of the retina. This is to get things ready so the ocular oncologist at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center can insert radiation seeds.

Afternoon Everyone,

Odd to be on my computer today as I usually don't touch it on Sunday, but I needed to finalize our taxes and get them filed. Glad to have that off my list of tasks. We're getting a nice refund this year thanks to hubby not working for 6 months, plus all the expenses from the stupid vampire bugs (and no they have not returned. There has been no sign of them at all). It should help us get caught up on some of the bills.

RS - Praying that you get good results from your tests tomorrow and that your treatment will be minimal.

Hope you all have a peaceful evening.

We are still in the grip of the cold spell......13 below this a.m. ...reached 5 above today. But again, the sun was out, but boy, was it windy.

Squirrelly, I am saying extra prayers, Knowing you, I am sure you got the best of the best, but God is how I can help the most. Bless you, my friend.

Mandy, am so glad those nasty vampires have not reappeared. Take care. (Have been doing umpteen things today, and I am taking a break from it all. Busy day tomorrow, Ugh.
