JS, I would never trust Sparky and Remmy together, lol! My old dog Gibb and Sparky were best buddies, though. Gibb was a lab.

They may be better friends when you are not there. Do you ever crate Remmy?

No, Guy, I don't crate Remmy. I do have a kiddie gate in the doorway between Remmy's range and Sparky's room. Sparky will bow up and try to bite Remmy if she gets too close to his cage and Remmy is just more excited by that activity, lol. Either one could hurt the other, so I take no chances. Heck, Sparky would walk all around and over Gibb, lol. That's never going to work this time, lol.

Does Sparky speak to Remmy? I was wondering what Sparky's response would be if Remmy just lay down next to his cage, and fell asleep. It would be nice if they could become pals.

Guy, when I first got Remmy and had to a lot of training (potty training, what not to bother, etc.) Sparky picked up the scolding words very quickly, lol. If Remmy does something she shouldn't, Sparky tells on her with his "no no, uh-uh, bad girl", lol. If he can see her outside, he alerts me if she is digging or something because he has seen me getting on to her, lol. Tattletale and she is busted! Of course, Remmy lets me know every move Sparky makes, too, lol. If he climbs down to the bottom of his cage, that especially gets to Remmy. They must hate each other, lol.
