8-18-17 - Donuts and Clear Skies

Good evening all,

RS's storm came through here this evening. Not too surprising, as the weather was in the 80sF and extremely humid---the most humid it's been this summer, I think, unless it was stickier while I was in California. Woke up super early this morning to get my permit for driving, and I passed. I had one in California years ago, but went to college before I could get my license. I also had personal training this afternoon. Otherwise, a relaxing day.

Hope everyone has a nice night.

Noel, you would love being in the woods, with the following conditions:

Sun shining.
About 30*
No wind.
Trees (evergreens) covered with snow, dropping off occasionally.
No sounds of civilization.
Sit down, maybe doze off.
I was there, once or twice.

It's not quite zero; scientists claim that the earth's axis abruptly shifted, at least once. I'm glad I missed that event!
   :) :) :)

PS: Robin, my scene did get a little warmer, probably 34*, or so. That made the snow start dropping from the branches. Sometimes it made a sound like a running deer. :) I think you may have liked being there.
