(I truly thought I had posted yesterday, but things got crazy at work and with family drama after work).
Good afternoon everyone. A beautiful day here in the mid 70s, and falling to the low 50s tonight. This and temps between 20* and 30* are when I can breathe the best so definitely loving it now.
Had a very easy school about a half mile from the office. The kids were well behaved and the teachers were prepared...yep, perfect.
Then came back to the office to get my flu shot. This was a different Rite-Aid pharmacist than the one who usually comes. I went to school with this one's grandmother, and she teased that she was giving me the "senior citizen flu shot" because I was "mature". Then added that she wouldn't dare call me old because her grandma would kill her being we're the same age.
A co-worker who is 61 came in, and asked if he heard right that there is a senior shot different from the regular flu shot. She said "Yes, but the needle is twice as big, too" while winking at me. I had to hurry out of the room before I burst out laughing.
WW, I 'm very lucky that I can get the Amish made apple cider donuts while they're still warm.
Entenmann's had to close their baking plant near here because this is Little Debbie Country. Walmart is the only place to get their products. Meanwhile, Little Debbie goods are sold in every grocery and convenience store.
robinsnest, boy, I bet the rent will be super high for your old house with all of the money the new owners are spending to pretty it up. That's a wonderful theater program.
rf - our police on both sides of the PA / Ohio state line are doing a great job educating everyone here about human trafficking. They keep showing us that the 3 busiest corridors for the traffickers kidnapping, moving, and "selling" girls, women, and boys are the I-5 (Mexico through California to Canada), I-95 (Florida up the east coast to Canada), and I-80 (San Francisco to New Jersey outside of New York City). My town is along Interstate 80 plus close to 2 other north/south interstates. Several teenagers go missing from this area each month.
