Chalk one up for the win, thanks to Noel's good advice. Gena's visit tomorrow, if it happens will be held at the CPS department with department provided supervision until the caseworker can get a copy of the police report on the phone calls to wife #1 and further investigate the ex's behavior.

It finally stopped raining. It't going to take awhile to dry things out and more rain
coming over the next few days.

sorry for such a late post....It's been an evening..... I did find out about the sirens earlier this morning.....

A man has died after he and a woman were hit by a car Tuesday morning, the Phoenix Police Department reported.
The collision happened in the area of 52nd Street, between Greenway Road and Acoma Drive. It is across the street from Liberty Elementary School.
According to police, the pair were walking in the area when they were hit by the vehicle.
The 69-year-old man that was hit was taken to the hospital, where he later died. The 69-year-old woman is recovering from her injuries, police said.
The driver involved in the crash stayed at the scene and showed no signs of impairment, police said.
The crash is under investigation.

The car has been said to have jumped the curb and gone down the sidewalk where it hit the couple.....

OC at the time of the accident the streets were dry and the sun was out... the car was heading North so the Sun didn't figure into the accident. I've read on NextDoor that the driver of the SUV was reaching for a "tissue"
