Unless you live under a rock, the actors guild is joining the writers guild with striking.

It's been 60 years since both have been on strike.

The strike will postpone fall network television and some speculate some shows won't be back on.

Movies in production are no longer being made.

Soap actors have a different contract and won't be striking.

@Dayus D.....Sheri Anderson used to write for Days and wrote wonderful storylines. A shame when they lost her.

She is credited for creating many of Days most beloved super couples such as Kim and Shane Donovan, Bo and Hope Brady, and Steve and Kayla Johnson. She also created Austin and Billie Reed along with Victor Kiriakis and Vivian Alamain.

So, the soaps can still film, however they could run our of scripts due to the writers' strike. (Yes, Days films so far ahead, they probably are not worried at all, so far.)
