John wonders if Ben is trying to drive Salemites crazy by encouraging Hope to continue her never-ending apology tour.

Brady who is utterly convinced that Kristen has "changed" now thinks that Ben snuck into the K-mansion and stabbed Victor.

Belle suspects that John's strange outbursts are caused by telepathic messages sent by Ben.

Justin has a strong feeling that Bonnie keeps coming on to him because her attempt to play the cougar with Ben was a total failure.

Frustrated because her dumb schemes are moving along so slowly, Gwen suspects that the diabolical Ben is somehow sabotaging her plans.

Angry that Kayla won't cut Tripp a break, Steve suspects that Ben is poisoning her mind against his son.
 
Ben may largely have vanished from the Salem scene, but the locals seem to believe that he's everywhere.

Ava is convinced that Xander hasn't fallen into any of Philip's traps because Ben is tipping him off.

Nicole and Allie believe that Trippy is stonewalling the rape accusations against him because Ben is encouraging him to do so.

Victor thinks that Sarah is now speaking in baby talk because Ben told her that it sounded cute.

Gwen simply knows that Ben is encouraging the lusty Kate-Jake romance.

An angry Jenny now believes that Ben encouraged Jack to sleep with Kate.

Abe is shocked by his declining poll numbers and thinks that it's because Ben is badmouthing him all over town.

Chad is convinced that Ben is encouraging Abigail to have an affair with Jake.

Abigail worries that Ben has been telling Chad that she's been unfaithful to him with Jake, Rory, Philip, Charlie, and Harold.

Kate suspects that Ben is telling Jake that she is too old for him.

Jake frets over his suspicions that Ben has been telling Kate that her affairs with younger men are tasteless and unseemly.

Ava believes that Charlie turned into an ungrateful son after listening to Ben complain about Clyde.

Philip fears that his efforts to woo Chloe will fail because Ben has been badmouthing him all over Salem.

Kayla has a feeling that Steve has no faith in University Hospital DNA tests because Ben told him that they aren't worth the paper that they're printed on.

Roman thinks his lack of business in the Pub of late is due to Ben discouraging customers as they attempt to enter.

Justin is sure Ben discouraged Sonny from accompanying Will to Salem for the holiday, ensuring their separation at a family time.

Kate wonders if Jake's obsession with her is due to Ben badgering him.

Charlie is worried that Ben knows about him tying up his mother, & will tell Claire.

Will knows Ben had his best interests in mind, when he talked him into not attending any family festivities, just stop off, say hi/goodbye.

Charlie is now claiming that hearing about Ben's necktie stranglings caused his rape of Allie and his gross mistreatment of Ava.

Ava agrees, and is now telling Steve that Charlie went off the rails because of Ben's bad example.

Philip is now spreading the lie that it was Ben who hooked him up with the Vitali mob.

Salemites who ask Susan Banks to conjure up visions are all told the same thing: Ben is to blame.
 
Hoping to deflect blame from his new daughter and to placate Jenny, Jack backs up her story about Ben killing Laura.

While being held at the police station, a handcuffed Ivan tells his furious Madame that Ben convinced Marlena to hypnotize him, and that he was still under hypnosis when he snatched the Grant twins.

Hoping to facilitate his reconciliation with Abigail, Chad shamelessly tells her that he only slept with Gwen after Ben assured him that his marriage was hopelessly on the rocks.

Charlie now blames Ben for raping Allie (during a quick, previously unknown trip to London) and offers as proof a new DNA test that he paid Dr. Rolf to perform in his prison cell.
 
Salemites with upside-down attitudes are feeling sorry for Evan and blaming Ben for everything.

Cynics are now suggesting that Ben blew up Ciara's glass cage to get attention and sympathy.

A rumor is going around that Clyde's stabbing of Orpheus was planned by Ben.

Sami has started telling Rafe that Ben is framing her in the Charlie Dale murder case.

Eli is now telling a fed-up Abe that he suspects that Aunt Paulina coming to Salem was all Ben's idea.

Abigail is now blabbing to anyone who will listen that Ben gave her the idea of locking Gwen in the DiMera wine cellar.

An angry Julie now suspects that Ben put Xander up to sleeping naked on Alice's sacred couch.
