JJ & Gabi are still talking, with JJ trying to make sure Gabi doesn't know anything, but if she does, be wary, stay away. Gabi is defensive, makes some accusations against JJ, who assures her he did not ask for this assignment, the Lt. insisted. Gabi flounces out, is taking Ari over to Sonny at the Kmansion, will see him later.
At the Kmansion, Andre & Deimos are butting heads, with Andre wanting his tech stuff back, Deimos saying he wore out his welcome, Sonny bursts in as they are nose to nose threatening each other. Andre calls Sonny a boy scout, tho good cheek bones, is not making any move to leave. Lots of snark and anger back and forth. Gabi has come in, takes Ari upstairs, calls Chad to come, lots of ruckus, Andre out of hand.
Abby sits on the bench in front of the so popular angel, Dario happens by. They have a nice talk, Chad spots them, is not pleased to see Dario with his wife, but Abby assures Chad Dario helped her, she was hiding, was going to stay away, he made her realize she needed to go home. If not for him, would not be here. Chad gets the call from Gabi, takes off. Abby & Dario tease, talk, joke around, the mutual blackmail is water under the bridge, they are friends. Abby is glad, she has very few friends in Salem.
Nancy comes into Chloe's room, sees her eyes are open, tho Chloe won't answer her at first, almost seems in a trance. She finally acknowledges her mother, asks about her baby. Nancy explains Holly is in chicago with your dad and Parker, shows her a pic Craig sent this a.m. Chloe is a bit vague, recalls it snowing, she had the baby, Nicole was there. She is speaking slowly. But she remembers Nicole delivered the baby, she asked Nik to name the baby, and finally says yes, the baby is Nicole's. Nancy wants to tell Nicole now, Chloe says no, but Nancy warns her this all can blow up in their faces. Brady suspects, tried to take a swab, but she found the Q-tip, replaced it with one with nothing on it. She thinks Deimos is behind it all. So you have to tell Nicole before he does. If he is the one, he will be in Holly's life forever.
Chloe's blood pressure rises, machine beeps, nurse comes in, turns it off, tells Nancy Chloe has to rest. Nurse leaves (!!!???) Nancy leaves to go get the baby, Chloe wants to hold her. Nurse returns, Chloe wants her phone, not there, uses bedside phone, tries dialing, can't remember number. Nurse can't help, leaves. Chloe says if no one will help her, she will just do it herself. She removes the wires attached to her, gets out of bed.
At the Kmansion, Chad arrives, yelling and hollering by Deimos & Andre, name calling and more. He gets Gabi to leave, goes in, gets Andre to agree to leave, but not before Andre warns Deimos he tried to do this with civility, so now he will be forced to do things differently. When they are gone, Sonny is having a fit, what is going on, what am I defending. Deimos explains about the technology device, can hack cameras on any device, was developed by DiMera, Hernandez family got hold of it, but now we have it. This is huge, our legacy.
Nicole is in the square, ordering flowers, refusing carnations, wants simple, but elegant. A woman comes by, pushing a buggy, Nicole comments on the beautiful baby...named Violet. Mom mentions being up at 3 a.m., baby is teething. She'd give anything for a night's sleep. Nicole notes she would trade places in a second with her. The woman eventually leaves, Nicole flashes back to when Chloe offered to be a surrogate for her, and then when they learned the attempt did not work. She goes to the Kmansion, Sonny is made aware of the engagement, congratulates, and gets lots when the two begin their lovey dovey stuff again.
Abby has come to the pub, sits with JJ, who is down in the dumps. She is cheery, wants to order food, he doesn't want anything, finally tells her that Gabi was there, there is a problem involving perhaps the Hernandez father & son, he just tried to warn her to stay away from it.
Meanwhile, Gabi is with Dario, warning him that the cops may be on to him & dad, JJ did not give her details, but warned her to stay away from them.
Abby goes home, Chad greets her with a hug, she shows him some outfit she bought for Thomas, they sit on sofa, chat a bit, he talks of going out to dinner, she offers to cook something, he is agreeable to that, smiles, she goes to check and see what they have in the kitchen. After she is gone, he texts Gabi, "thank you". Gabi gets it, smiles when she reads it.
Nicole is home, someone at the door, she answers, surprised and happy to see Chloe. Is full of questions, gives hugs, wants her to sit, but she declines. Chloe has something important to tell her, has to do it now, has been planning just what she was going to say.......(how about "Holly is your daughter? Short and sweet) But then Chloe sees the ring on Nicole's finger, notes that is not the Daniel's ring. Nope, Nicole tells of now being engaged to Deimos. Chloe decides that maybe she had better sit down after all.
Deimos gets an upsetting phone call, is furious. Tells Sonny that a ship of theirs was sabotaged, they lost all the cargo. He figures who is responsible. And just wait until he sees the payback. He is yelling, saying (referring to Andre) that he will kill him....Nicole & Chloe walk in, hear it all.
