And if I heard it correctly Madeline made a comment about Kate killing her brother, that must be where Kate got her blood stained hands from.

Steffee, at first I wasn't sure what Madeline said here either. I thought she said Kate had a granddaughter who'd killed her brother and I couldn't think who she meant. So I replayed it and found she did say that. Then I realized she was talking about Chelsea. She was making a point of what failures Kate's kids were.

After reviewing a later running of the show I did hear the killing of a brother was related to a granddaughter which of course is Chelsea and Zack. Thanks I didn't catch it at first.
