Gabi waking up in bed with Jake. She's waited so long to be together with him again. He's glad he took her back. Thank god they came to their senses. Oh but wait - that was a dream and Gabi's really in bed with Shin.
Jake also has a dream about bed partner Gabi - Only he wakes from it to Ava kissing his shoulder. He seems disappointed to realize it's Ava.
Shawn helping Jan on the couch and asking her how she was. She says no more cramping, but she had a terrible nightmare about his wife. Then she plays up the horror of her nightmares about Belle dragging her in front of a judge etc. Jan bets Belle hopes she loses the baby, Shawn keeps defending Belle. Jan asks if he'd let anyone take her baby, and he says NO. Playing right into her games.
Ej wishes Belle a good morning - but she and her head disagree. She had a bad headache on the drive over. She's glad he arranged a cab for her. She's got to get goin home - to Shawn's. Ej asks why. At the request of Ms. Spears she has to clear out her office for the baby. Ej wonders why she'd give in to Jan's demands, that house is as much hers as Shawn's. EJ says don't you think your marriage is worth fighting for.
Sonny is passed out in bed, with Leo looming saying "Good morning Sunshine." Leo's yelling to Sonny and pretend trying to wake him and discusses Last night and that he must have had too many of the magic cookies but not before Leo got pictures of their fun. They are better than he hoped. Leo makes more remarks and then blows a kiss and leaves, and then Sonny wakes up with a pounding head and wonders what he did last night.
Ava seems quite content as she tells Jake he was mumbling in his sleep and asks what he was dreaming about. He claims to not remember. She asks what he wants for breakfast. Jake says when he asked her to move in he didn't mean as his personal chef. Then he says he wants to cook for her for a change. Ava has high standards with her food (I guess that's the only thing she has high standards for).
Shawn tells Jan he'd bring the baby to visit her as much as he can if she goes back to prison. Shawn admits its not what he wanted but he does have a responsibility to his child and her because of it, BUT he also has a responsibility to his wife. he's stuck in the middle - but the side he needs to be on is the baby's side. He doesn't believe a baby should be taken away from its mother without good reason (Um I can name 5 good reasons to take away Jan's baby, but I digress)
EJ and Belle discuss Jan and her attempts at keeping Belle away. it's past time for Belle to bite the bullet. Ej asks if there is room at her parent's for her office - she says not really, EJ then offers a room at the mansion since she is his lawyer. He'll even help move her things.
Victor tells Sonny he should have been in the office hours ago, then wonders if he went on a bender. Sonny doesn't remember drinking but he feels out of sorts. Victor offers him fruit. Sonny has a vague memory of Leo and the fruit.
Leo calls someone - he's sending over the pictures they discussed and he's sure they won't be disappointed.
Shin has cookies to offer for breakfast since she has a sweet tooth. He defends it by saying Americans eat a lot of sugary things for breakfast. Gabi thinks it feels decadent like last night. He thinks she has regrets - but she says she doesn't even though she didn't expect to wake up with him. Shin is glad she doesn't have regrets. He's thinking of postponing his flight so he can spend more time with her. But only if that's what she wants.
Ava is drenching her eggs in hot sauce, Jake teases maybe he can't scramble eggs. Ava says they are perfect. They bring up Rafe and Gabi awkwardly. Ava was thinking - they were roommates and then they were in bed together, they may have skipped some steps along the way. Jake asks if she has regrets - she says No but she does think she'll move out. Jake assumes he was terrible last night, otherwise why would she want to move out. She says he wasn't, but that's why she has to move out, she doesn't want the same thing to happen that happened with Rafe. Jake says he's not in love with another woman - she says that's debatable. Then they discuss if they have a relationship or not. He likes her a lot and he is sorry but he doesn't know what has changed since she moved in making it possible she can move out. He wants to come up with a plan that doesn't involve her becoming homeless. Jake offers to woo her if she wants to take a step back. He asks if she'll stay and she says Yes. She thanks him for understanding. She teases she might need him to cover up. Maybe they could wait on those "steps".
Jan all excited Shawn remembered all her favorite foods. He mentions they've spent a lot of time together even if he was forced. Then she brings up when he helped her out after she got pregnant in high school. She's so grateful to him and hugs him just as Belle and EJ walk in of course. (This is so disturbing to watch for me, not gonna lie)
Shin was worried at first Gabi was using him to make Jake jealous - but last night changed his mind. He woke up this morning thoroughly smitten with her, but if she doesn't feel the same they can move forward without issue. Gabi doesn't want to forget it, she wants it to happen again.
Belle clears her throat and asks what is happening? Jan says it was just a hug, then Shawn wants to know why EJ's there.
Victor asks if Sonny is raving mad for accepting a gift from Leo Stark. He says he didn't exactly accept it. Sonny didn't eat it, because he assumed it was poisoned. Victor says I just ate some. Sonny declares it was fine because Leo ate some. The only thing Sonny ate last night were cookies - that were delivered from Will and Ari. Victor asks if he's sure they sent them. Sonny realizes that he asked Wil last night and he didn't send anything. Maybe Leo did drug him.
Leo goes to see Gwen. Jokes what's a nice girl like you doing in a place like this. She looks awful - but beautiful. She wants to know what he's doing there.
Victor says he better check his wallet. Everything is intact as far as he can tell. He's worried about what Leo did to him while he was unconscious.
Jake tells Ava that she can take a step back if she wants to still. After they shower together. She sends him off to work and says she'll have some dinner waiting for him when he gets home.
Gabi thinks they should be discreet about their relationship. Shin says he'll tell his dad he's staying for business reasons. He doesn't care if his dad gets upset. His dad wants him to settle down with a nice girl. Gabi doesn't match that description which is what he likes about her.
Shawn doesn't understand he told Belle not to. Craziness ensues between EJ, Shawn, Jan and Belle. Belle was upset, Shawn has a problem because she had drinks with EJ. Shawn warns EJ to stay the hell away from his marriage. Jan's pleased with herself as she quietly watches. Belle says EJ was kind enough to offer her space at the mansion. More disgruntled faces. Ej and Belle go to pack up the office.
Gwen was expecting Jack to be her visitor. Or maybe even Xander. She's so happy to see a friendly face. Leo wonders if it's that bad. She's coping. She'd rather distract herself with what is going on with him than get into details. He wants to share progress in his quest for revenge. She's excited.
Sonny thinks the cookies showed up before Leo did. Victor says its all his fault. He poked the weasel. Sonny says he didn't succeed. Victor says they have to find out what he was drugged with. Leo commited a crime, they need a blood test to prove it.
Jake knocks on Shin's door. Shin is curious to why he came over. Jake came to say thank you, Shin's always had his back with Dimera. Jake wanted to say goodbye before he headed back to Hong Kong. Jake is surprised to hear Shin's plans have changed.
Gabi is on the phone with Rafe in her office learning the Nicole/Rafe news when Ava comes in bringing documents Jake left on the table. Gabi has news Ava will want to hear - then happily spills the engagement news. Isn't that wonderful? Ava's over Rafe though and she's moved on to someone better. Gabi doesn't care. Ava says oh so you're not interested that I slept with Jake last night.
Shin starts to explain to Jake why he's staying but jake figures it out and says he doesn't have to explain, he knows why he's sticking around.
Sonny is on the phone with Kayla thanking her for fitting him in. Will walks into the room, Sonny's so happy to see him. Sonny sent him weird videos and wasn't answering hsi calls. Sonny says you were worried about me? and Will says he got a news alert and there's an article titled "My wild times with Sonny Kiriakis."
Gwen wants to know what he did with Sonny. He asks if she wants the details. She says no. He's done with Sonny for now anyways. He wants to know how would she like to hel him get revenge on someone else.
jan is so Sorry for Shawn. Shawn insists it's Fine. jan can't help feeling like the whole situation is her fault. Shawn doesn't care who's fault it is anymore. Jan wants to know if he's mad at her. He's made at life, the devil and EJ for trying to steal his wife.
Belle wonders if the staff is mad about her moving stuff in. Ej says that's what they are paid to do. She's not used to it, neither was Sami EJ says. Ej thinks Shawn's an idiot, he'd never do something like that. And of course they kiss.
