The show starts off with Trent on the phone with Nicole. He tells her to come and see him and to bring her check book if she wants to keep their marriage from Victor. He then makes another call to place a bet on a game.
Outside the pub Max and Stephanie are back. Max thanks her for coming with him. They talk about the summer that they had. They agree that they could have done without Mel's tricks. Max sees Trent inside the pub and goes in. Stephanie tries to stop him and calls her Dad for help. Max punches Trent real hard.
Abe arrives at the house. Theo is with one of the workers that are treating him. She says that the day went well and gives Abe a report of Theo. Abe a Theo start to play
Kate is coughing and having problems breathing.
A flash back of Dan talking to the board and Lexie and Dan leaving for the board to take a vote. Dan wants Lexie to stay positive as she has Julie, Mickey and Victor on the board. Lexie talks to Dan about the fact that Theo is affecting the way she is coping at work and that she needs to be able to spend more time with him. that if she knew about his problem before she would not have taken the job. Dan says he meant what he said to the board, but she needs to do what is right for her.
Philip calls Lucas and says that he is at the hospital with Mom and to come as soon as he can.
The board has made their decision and ask for Lexie to come back in. They are about to give the decision when Lexie quits her job as COS. Says she will continue with her practice at the hospital. Julie is shocked and Lexie explains why. The head of the board tells Lexie that the vote was for her to stay on as COS and that she can reconsider. She says no. After the meeting Victor talks to Dan saying how upset his is with him and to stay away from Chelsea now that she is back. He says that what happened with Kate only happened a few times and that he has not loved anyone since Rebecca and that he had not given up on Chelsea. He tells Victor about Kate in the ER and Victor goes to see her.
Lucas arrives at the hospital and is told by Philip what is happening. He goes to see Kate and she tells him to leave. He asks why she did not tell him that she was sick. She says that he was too busy with Chloe and did not want to bother him. They talk back and forth and she agrees to get Chloe a chance.
Max is very angry at Trent for pimping out Mel to save his depts. Trent denies that it happened. He is very shocked to see Mel is with them and asks why he never told her that she had a brother. Trent says Max is not a part of their family he tries to force Mel to go with him. Mel does not want to go. Max gets an empty bottle and breaks it. Holds in against Trent's neck and threatens to kill him. Mel encourages Max to do it. Caroline and Steve try to calm Max down. Reminding him of Papa Shawn and what he would think about Max doing this and all that Papa Shawn taught him
Bo and Hope meet Nicole outside the pub and question her. She tells them about her past and marrying Trent with the name Misty Circle as that was her real name at the time. He started drinking and gambling. Abused her and she left. She thought that he had filed for a divorce. Bo says that Victor needs to know.
Bo and Hope see what is happening inside the pub. Bo is able to get Max to hand over the bottle. Trent wants Max arrested for assault. Bo tries to smooth things over and get Max to say he is sorry. Max will not. Stephanie is upset with Mel for encouraging Max to kill Trent after all that he has done for her. Mel goes to Trent and says she wants to kill him with her bare hands.
Abe reads the report on Theo and is very happy with the report. Lexie arrives home and Abe shows her how Theo is improving. Lexie is very happy. Abe tells her that he quit the force. She is upset because she just quit her job to spend more time with Theo. Abe tells of how the mayor came looking for a scapegoat and that he is going to go after Stefano. Lexie is worried about it. Abe says he can not work in a system he does not believe in anymore. One that was bought and paid for by Stefano. They are worried about paying for Theo's treatments. Abe says he will get another job and they will manage.
Kate goes for her X rays. Philip and Lucas talk about Chloe. Philip tells Lucas he is cool with it. They set up a surprise for Kate. When she gets back their is a computer. They have a video call with Billie. Kate feels much better after and says they should do that more often. Dan takes a look at the X ray and has a very worried look on his face. He asks a nurse that a copy be sent to another doctor.

because I really liked - Okay -loved Daniel and Chelsea together that is before they threw Kate into the equation!!!!!!!
