Yawwnnnn. That tells you something. Replay of Friday's ending, Lani throwing the pot through the GabiChic window, only this time, as the alarms go off, she runs off. Nicole & Brady returning home, she thanks him, pulls him in for a kiss, they rush themselves into apt. as Kristen then stares angrily at the closed door.
Kristen returns to wherever she & Lani are staying, pulling off her habit, (Lani already has) furious at seeing Brady. She tells Lani what she did, knows it was stupid to have followed them, calls Nicole all kinds of nasty names, they don't call her Misty Circle for nothing. She rants, finally picking up a bottle intending to go kill Nicole. Lani stops her, physically preventing her from going after Nicole, talks sense into her. Kristen admits she just lost it for a minute, Lani tells her what she did, Kristen scolds for going out, they open a bottle of wine, toast “keeping their eye on the prize”.
Meanwhile, tho Nicole does want to roll in the hay with Brady, he says no, she is drunk, would regret it, they both are hurting, and would just end up like they did before. They are friends now, keep it this way. So, they have some ice cream with hot fudge sauce instead. He made it. (got a kick out of Nicole sitting in her black & white striped dress, and on the wall behind her is large pic of 2 zebras)
Hattie is having quite the time keeping her mouth shut about the man in Kate's room, lots of beating around the bush. She needs a beer, feels better, now starts badgering Roman about whether he has anything going with Kate. Roman insists he has a rules, no dating waitresses, lots of chatter about that as Hattie tries to get him to say he might. Nope, his rule is hard and fast. He tells her she can start tomorrow, she leaves.
At the cop shop, Gina is going home early, long day, is tired. Rafe gets a beep on his computer, lab report in on tiara, two sets of prints, Rolf's & hers (Hope's) Gina says she must have touched it, Rafe says he found it, bagged it, she had not. Gina then says she went to lab to check on evidence, oh dear, must have touched without gloves on. Rafe accepts this, Marlena arrives, says she thinks Stefano is in town, found this brooch in her bag with a note signed S. They all figure she is right. Rafe takes the brooch to the lab to get checked out, giving Marlena the chance to tell “Hope” she did not appreciate her trying to come between her & John. Gina tries to deny, but Marlena reminds her John told her everything, they don't keep secrets. Gina just apologizes, says she did move out. Marlena tho saw her come on to John a couple of times, thought she was imagining it. Before Gina can reply, Rafe returns, Marlena leaves.
Gabi & Eli are rolling around in the sack big time, when done, exchange “I love you”, he gets beeped, alarm system at her store. Both race off, he thinks it is vandalism, she thinks someone on purpose, naming Chad & Abby. Eli notes they were on way to Jen's when they left, doubt they would stop off to throw pot through her window. She agrees, but still thinks it was on purpose.
Kate & Steve have a huge argument over his obsession with Marlena, his attempt to get close to her by donning the Santa suit. She tries to make him see that Marlena is not going to accept Steve Johnson, they go back and forth, round & round. At one point, she is going to call Marlena, tell her all, Stefan-ano reminds her that Marlena & everyone else will know she has been in league with him & Gina, she will be persona non grata with all, maybe all end in prison. Kate changes her mind, puts down the phone.
Marlena is sitting on the sofa as Hattie returns. (Good editing with both in the room). Hattie says she propositioned Roman, he responded, gave her a job. She is all excited about working at the Pub.
Steve-ano says he has been hoping to hear from Gina, that was safe to go back to the room, but no message. He stays at Kate's one more night, she insists it will be on the floor. He has to move things along, has a plan, tomorrow is New Year's Eve, & time to make a bold move!
