An episode that should be 8 min. long, but takes up the entire 37 min. (the other minutes are commercials. Chad & Abby are having breakfast in the square, and also a long and boring conversation as Abby wants to get a DNA sample from Chad without his knowledge. Hurray, he gets a phone call, and of course has to leave the table so his wife won't hear, go stand where strangers can hear, but she gets to take his used fork. Plus at one point, another phone call, checks with Gabi, who is on her way to DiMansion to try for Stefan's DNA.
At DiMansion, Stefan has a long argument with Kate about doing his bidding, Leo, Chad, Titan, Sonny, etc. She won't betray Chad, he insists she do so, round and round. He finally concedes, will let Chad try and take him down, holding his info about Kate pulling the strings with Sonny in his back pocket, to be used if needed.
John is at the Pub, waiting for Will & Paul, who arrive, and are happy to get John's dirt on Leo. Seems Leo's real name is Matthew Cooper, been arrested several times, and was also a male escort....meaning prostitute. The guys are so happy with this info, Will takes the file to show to Sonny, while Paul stays with his dad, fills him in on Will getting a memory of Sonny saying he loves him, but Will has stated, tis only a memory of the past, he loves Paul now. John is happy for him, and Paul is all smiles. (Actor does have great smile!)
Gabi arrives at DiMansion, goes in, (yep, no servants opening door, lol), to overhear the tail end of Stefan & Kate's conversation. As Kate comes out into foyer, she sees Gabi – what are you doing here? Gabi says she could ask Kate the same thing. Kate makes up some story about trying to get her job back, Gabi says she will put in a good word. Not necessary . Kate leaves, Gabi sneaks upstairs, is coming back down when Stefan comes out, wanting to know why she was upstairs. Gabi fakes it, was looking for him, peeked in living room, did not see him. Stefan says, so you went up to my bedroom? Gabi now claims needing a signature on some paper, wanting to make sure everything is done by the book now. After Stefan stealing her company, sending her to jail, her losing her daughter along the way, she does not want to get burned again. She leaves, gets a call from Abby outside the door, both have the DNA (Gabi has his toothbrush) so they will meet at the lab. Gabi takes off, Stefan comes out and follows her.
At the Kmansion, Sonny is aghast at the insistence of Leo that Sonny marry him. Another long, drawn out argument about it, pros, cons, Sonny refusing, Leo talking of saving the company, his family no more gossipy headlines, blah, blah. Back and forth, Sonny is repelled by all this, but in the end, caves, and agrees he will marry Leo. In rides the cavalry.....I mean, in walks Will, shocked to hear Sonny say this. Leo is telling Will to beat it, get lost, not wanted, they are getting married today, he has number of a justice of peace.
Will wants to talk to Sonny alone, no chance of that. Sonny is protesting he has to do this, nope, you don't. Look at this file. He pulls it out, tells of Leo not being his real name, tis Matthew, has arrest record, and was a prostitute. Sonny is convinced, tells Leo there is no way he will marry him now, this all proves you are a liar, yada, yada. Will tells Leo to now get out, or he will throw him out. Leo gets mad, this is all your fault, He attacks Will, choking him. Sonny comes rushing over, pulls Leo off, sending him flying against the fireplace, but Sonny is tending to Will, are you all right? Will is gasping a bit, but o.k. Leo is face down on the floor, they both go to him, hey, Leo, you o.k.? They roll him over, gash on forehead, Sonny checks neck pulse. He is dead!
