Pub: Roman asks Hattie to cover Kate's table so she can continue her conversation with Chad about Stefano. Kate assures Chad she'd tell him if Stefano had contacted her. Hattie wants to listen to Kate's problems, about which she can't talk.
Commissioner's Office: Rafe and Shawn-D find the office empty with a cigarette still burning. They worry about how she will wreck Hope's life, and Marlena's. Rafe wants Roman involved, as he "knows Hope and Marlena better than anyone" and has been worried about Hope for a long time. Rafe tries to call Marlena.
Townhouse: Gi-Nope says she's just waving the gun around because Stefano might be after Marlena, and that the Europe trip is a wild goose chase. Rafe calls, but Gi-Nope tells Marlena that Rafe's compromised. Marlena seems suspicious, Gi-Nope says that Stefano can reach anybody. Marlena acts pensively. The Commissioner tries to get her to leave with her, Marlena convinces Gi-Nope to pull her car into the garage so Marlena's not exposed.
Prague Hotel: John finds Stefano's ring, Steve-aNO gets angry that John doesn't trust him and has been investigating behind his back. John doesn't seem to buy his partner's story about how he got the ring. They do a lot of recapping; Steve-aNO says creepy things about Marlena and how "important" and "special" she is to him. (He also uses an odd accent.) John backs down, says he's frustrated that they're not making any progress; Steve-aNO claims Stefano's been spotted near the town square.
Pub: Hattie tries to get Kate to talk about the Steve situation, and Roman overhears a bit, wondering if Stefano's been caught. Kate deflects, Roman leaves the waitresses in charge so he can help Shawn-D & Rafe. Later, Kate is having server problems and yells at the customers, Hattie tries to get her to open up.
DiMansion: Chad tells Abby about his convo with Kate; he thinks Kate's keeping things from him. They fret about living under a roof with Gabi.
Commissioner's Office: Roman seems not to believe Shawn-D's claims, but will call Marlena at the hospital, then check out her place. Rafe is worried that Marlena hasn't returned his call.
Townhouse: Marlena listens to Rafe's message, which spills the theory about Hope/Gina and alerts her to the danger. Gi-Nope enters, Marlena confronts her. Gi-Nope puts a gun in Marlena's face and brings back her phony accent to insult Marlena.
Pub: Kate tells Hattie she's made a mess of things, and she doesn't know how to get out of it; Hattie offers to take on Kate's problems as her own. Kate tells her things, but not everything, for an eternity, until she spills that Steve is Stefano, Hope is Gina, and Gina is out for Marlena. Hattie's flummoxed, can't believe Kate's known this for so long. Kate was promised an interest in DiMera.
Gate House: Chad suggests to Abby they move to the Gate House, which has been empty since Ben went to prison. Abby balks about the lack of space, Chad is prepared to add 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. Their home will be wherever they can be a family. Later, they are sitting on the covered couch, and have decided they'll be happy here. Chad admits the Stefano situation upsets him, but all he needs is Abby & the kids.
Townhouse: Gi-Nope has Marlena call Roman, Marlena goes off script. This angers the phony princess and alerts Shawn-D, Roman, and Rafe somewhat.
Prague Warehouse: Steve-aNO and John bust in. There's nothing. They are about to look around, Rolf enters. Rolf prevents John from drawing his gun, then shoots Steve-aNO. There is blood. John gets angry, moves to attack Rolf, and is punched from behind by Steve-aNO.
Police Office: Shawn-D and Rafe learn there's no flight to Prague (from Marlena's call). They zip to Marlena's.
Townhouse: Marlena is held at gunpoint by the criminal commissioner/phony princess. They trade barbs.
Townhouse: Shawn-D and Rafe bust in; it's empty.
Prague Warehouse: Bad-accent Steve-aNO declares that his apparent death will help Gi-Nope move in on a vulnerable John. Pro-life Rolf suggests Steve-aNO kill John now (because nothing is owed to Gi-Nope) to clear a path to his "Queen of the Night."
Townhouse: Shawn-D and Rafe speculate that Gi-Nope has Marlena, since her personal items are still about.
Royal Dump: Marlena awakens on Gi-Nope's throne, sees the Stefano portrait. Gi-Nope says Marlena will not like the reason she's been spared.
