Days of Our Lives - Tues. Jan. 7, 2014

I think it is no accident that the EJ/Abby relationship is beginning at the opposite end of the spectrum from where the EJ/Sami relationship began. I'm guessing TPTB have finally got the message that they can never undo the rape(s) and that, therefore, the EJ/Sami pairing will always have 3 strikes against it. Abigail was more than a willing partner.
 
I watched the show live for the first time in a while. The EJ-Abby hookup...HAWT!!!!!! I was LOVING them!! And it was great to see everything else to. I liked seeing Lucas flirt with Sheryl, Kate, and Jordan-Rafe were cute today. Brady wasn't intolerable today and neither was Maggie, and the Daniel-Nicole scenes were good. But EJ-Abby were the highlight of the show no question about it! Wonderful show, truly. I hope it got very high ratings. And no Sami either!
 
Abby and EJ had more romance then ANY hookup of Sami/EJ. I still don't like EJ, but together they were, dare I say "sweet".

I am not sure who I want Nicole with Daniel or Eric but I want her HAPPY.

And I don't care who Lucas is with as long as we get more Lucas.

All and all I liked todays show a lot.
 
Just to reply to a post early on......Lucas did not ask Sheryl if she was married. He mentioned that this job would require relocation, and asked if that would be a problem with her husband and children.

Legitimate question, in my opinion, as when a candidate comes all that way for an interview, and is approved, it HAS happened that the person will call saying they will have to pass on the job offer, as the spouse is unable to be transferred, or has to remain wherever they are right now, etc. etc.
 
Am I dreaming? Am I really here with you..Oh yeah Abby you aren't dreaming dear..Ej is really on TOP on your naked body!....Ej was doing NOTHING for Sami, he didn't rush to get out of bed after the sex, he was kissing and touching and gazing at Abby like he was NOT a man engaged!

I want Ej to get it on with Abby on top of that huge desk he has over at Countless W!
 
They really used that awful "Am I dreaming? Am I really here with you?" song? :rolleyes: Other than that, WOW! Today's show did NOT disappoint. I keep thinking to myself, "That was hotter than it should have been", because EJ and Abby are such an off-the-wall pairing.

Giggled at Nicole's comment about joining the police force.
Gagged at yet another awkward Dan/Jennifer moment.
Also, LUCAS!!!!!! And potential storyline/love interest for him!
 
Ok just watched ... What a great episode!! Lucas got suckered by Kate. Loved Jordan and Rafe especially when they showed up at the club. Nicole and Dan in the park taking down the drug dealer.
Other than the horrendous porn music the Abigail Elvis scenes were great...it was really quite lovely. I laughed when Elvis said that. Their scenes were really really good!
Brady Brady Brady he is a mess! Poor JJ will he ever catch a break?
What fun it all was!!
 
The writing is on the wall for poor victimized JJ. I don't see a way out of this predicament, he has those drugs on him and has no way of getting rid of them before the cops look at his belongings. :eek:

Loved Nicole in action, tailing Daniel and getting all up in the grill of the drug dealer...you go, grrrrrl!:clap:
 
I enjoyed Nicole saving Daniel. I think they make a great crime fighting team.
What Daniel said to the drug dealer was funny about Victor
being his godfather. Let's hope the drug dealer doesn't work for Stefano

Will JJ get caught with drugs in his pocket? Hopefully not.

Interesting scene with Bryan Dattilo (Lucas). He was standing
inside the club and behind him the letters B D :)

Jordan must love her coach shirt she wore it work.

Great seeing Rafe out the wheel chair.

Maggie was a little upset with Theresa talking to her about Daniel.
Will Theresa hook up with Brady? She'll leave Daniel alone.

Interesting talk after Abby and EJ "did it". Abby realized she was
with only two men and were brothers. Big deal It's Salem LOL

LOVED seeing EJ seduced, for a change. HATED the music, and obviously not alone on that. That doesn't bode well, as in the past Days has always chosen memorable soundtracks to back scenes that mark the beginning or pivotal point of a new lasting relationship. This music was just too trashy to be something that will be replayed in flashbacks as the romance develops. Still hoping because EJ and Abby would be such a refreshing change from, well, rapist and victim screaming at each other and having hate sex. Not getting my hopes up though.
 
I don't put a lot of stock in the music. I was focused more on the camera angles of the scene than that. Just some really well directed love scenes--we have not seen scenes like that in several years.
 
First off EJ's chest......YUM! Okay now for the real business. Abigail can sure take a note out of Britney Spears "Oops I did it again" cause she sure is starting to obsess over EJ as she did Austin. In fact she seduced EJ. He made it clear he felt uncomfortable and wanted to leave but she was so much in heat she was willing to do whatever which of course can't blame the girl but maybe she'll start getting real and not delusional. She knew what she was doing and really didn't care almost in fact she would be willing to overlook anything if she had a piece of EJ. Abby is almost like Sami in some ways. She wants what she can't have. Chad and Cameron were easy fish for her to catch, however Austin and EJ we're both hard to pull out into the boat let's just say. Cause they're both basically married. She proves she is just as screwed up as JJ but in an more cynical way.

I loved Kate and Lucas today the two seemed to get along yet I could see Lucas still kind of suspicious but following his mother's orders. The connection is there and him telling Sheryl she don't got the job will probably lead to more later on between the two. After all would be unprofessional right. But twist she knows Jordan. About same age.....so I assume maybe they went to highvschool together or something.

The AA meeting was interesting, I loved how regal and strong Maggie was to be able to help Brady. Also for Juanita, Theresa's sponsor, to drag her out of her apartment and get her to a meeting just was awesome. Definitely will be an slow meeting for Theresa and Brady if they even get along.

Eric will eventually breakdown over Nicole. He already mentioned he didn't want to disturb her and Daniel when he saw them just hugging. Clear he is jealous just doesn't know how to deal with it.
