Yawwwnnnnn. Nearly everything is at a standstill today, plus Eve & Sarah are back. Fake Nicole is talking with Brady, replay of her kissing him, he is kissing back, but does push her away, nope, not gonna do this to his brother. She protests, he stands firm, gets a call, leaves. She rants to herself, knows he felt something. She then is trying to call Xander, to no avail, no decides to go find him, open the door only to find Eli & Lani there, come to ask some questions. They all play the usual games, she lies, but is told Ted & Kate fingered Stefan, he is under arrest. She makes her lame excuses, they finally leave.
Earlier, at the cop shop, Eve confronted Eli & Lani, who were about to question Xander. She insists she will take over, takes Xander to her office, jabbers about the “immunity” deal he wants. He wants her to let him go, she cannot do that, talks of Jack's campaign run on law and order, blah, blah. He threatens to tell Jack about her keeping diary from him, she says Jack already has it, they yak about Jack using formula to regain memory, she thinks her marriage is strong, Xander doesn't. She finally says she will contact DA office, he can get out on bail. When Eli & Lani later storm in because Xander's free, she says judge set bail, he posted. Nothing she can do.
Hope is visiting with Ted, Rex is visiting with Kate. Conversation is much the same, glad to be out, thanks to Hope pursuing Xander, yada, yada. Meanwhile, Eric comes home, of course Sarah is there, he rants about Nicole hating him, and how she is not the same woman he fell in love with. He is going to move on, leave town. She tries to talk him out, doesn't work. She makes them something to eat, they talk, she is once again making a move on him, they seem about to kiss, as Rex comes in. She takes dirty plates, Rex tells Eric his mom & Ted are found and safe. Sarah speaks up about Eric leaving town, Rex protests, she joins in, Eric decides to stay.
Kate comes into Ted's room, just as Hope is about to kiss Ted. He has done his blarney talk of having her in his life, how much she means, they have talked of Rafe a bit, he has moved on, time she does as well. Hope says she has calls, will be back. Kate chides Ted a bit, then talks of them keeping to their stories, which have to match. She assures Ted they really will not be safe until Kristen is gone, along with her dim-witted boy toy.
Gabi is in with Stefan, they go over her observations about Nicole. She went down to cellar, said she looked all over, could not find the champagne, had to have seen Ted & Kate, unless she already knew they were there. Stopped Gabi from going down. Gabi promises to get to the bottom of this, get Stefan out of there. He lightly kisses her, thanking her for doing this. He thinks they already are on their way to the next level of their relationship, he is so lucky to have her in his life. Gabi looks a bit uncomfortable, will see him later. Leaves.
As fake Nicole starts to leave, opens the door, there stands Xander. (best part of whole show now) He waited for the cops to leave, is really ticked at her for saving her skin, but leaving him twisting in the wind. He mentions Ted & Kate naming Stefan, who is under arrest, but also notes his immunity request wherein he could possibly finger Stefan as his boss. They argue some, but he is fed up, back her against a wall, fingers around her neck. She protests, let her go. One hand on back of neck, he grabs her hair, tired of her shenanigans. Commercial! And next scene, is Kristen, trying to grab the Nicole mask back, which Xander has out of reach. She is protesting, he is teasing, she won't be able to run around Salem without this, have to stay a prisoner in the room. Can't even answer door to visitors. Won't be able to seduce Brady without this either. He is out the door with the Nicole mask in hand. Kristen is furious.
