The zingers go flying today. Ah, and the first few minutes, when Sami comes home, on the phone to Lucas, talking about picking up Sydney's doll and then coming to pick the kids up from Lucas, and don't tell them about the trip to Chicago, tis a surprise. She abruptly hangs up, as hears Stefano's voice giving directions to move this to the left, then the right. She marches into the study, to find Stefano is having his portrait rehung. She begins having a fit, reading Stefano the riot act about being there, and EJ will react when he finds him there, etc. Stefano says, call him, tell him. I think his reaction may surprise you.
Harold is in the foyer, busily texting EJ to get home right away. Sami is meanwhile, going on and on at Stefano, when EJ appears in the doorway. One look at his face, she stops abruptly. Stefano laughs, leaves the room as they have much to talk about. Sami realizes and figures out that EJ has made a deal. She remembers Abe got a tip about the razor in Bernardi's girlfriend's house, figures it was Stefano. EJ admits he made the deal the day she was cleared. She figures, what the heck, let Stefano have the house. She hates living in this mauseleum anyway. She talks excitedly about leaving here, going far away from Stefano with the kids, etc. etc. She is going to go start packing now. EJ stops her. Nope, and then admits he gave Stefano everything back. Everything. That is o.k. So what, we can go elsewhere. She again is about to leave the room, and EJ stops her. I cannot allow you to leave.
Justin & Adrienne meet at the club, to talk over their problems, but along comes Marge, reading the riot act first to Justin, and then to Adrienne, calling them both liars, accusing them of defaming her wonderful husband, yada, yada, blah, blah. She really goes at it, despite them both trying to calm her down. She finally leaves, Justin & Adrienne talk about all that came between them. Adrienne making the mistake of not going to Justin first with the video, and Justin admitting that both Sami & EJ caused problems, lied to him, etc. But Justin knows why EJ did what he did, to protect the woman he loves, and Justin would probably do all he could to protect the same. He notes that where he is living, at the club, the coffee is lousy, but she makes fabulous coffee. So he thinks perhaps he should move back to the Kmansion with her. She smiles....for the coffee. Oh, yes, of course, and other things. She laughs, noting there are about 100 things he does well, too.
At the hospital, EJ is still bugging Rafe about no longer being the white knight, as he continues popping those grapes, and chomping on them. But finally he says he did not come to harrass him, but to let him know that now that Sami is free, they are planning on being married. Rafe asks "and that interests me how"?. EJ just likes to stick the pins in a bit more, and does so, but Rafe wishes him well, tells him maybe this time he won't have anyone interrupt the proceedings, that is, if your bride-to-be doesn't blow your brains out before then. LOL. EJ makes some crack about Rafe and one of Stefano's discards (meaning Kate)as he is bending over the bed, causing Rafe to grab his tie, pull him down. EJ pulls away, taking off the tie, and redoing it, then leans over the bed telling Rafe that the reason Bernardi was there was not to take his life, but to cut off his junk and put it in a box. BE thankful Samantha was here to save your embarrassment. He gets the text and hurries out. And here comes Marge, calling after him, but he doesn't stop. So.....she goes into Rafe's room, and now gives him the reaming out like she gave to Justin & Adrienne. Her wonderful husband, Rafe lied, she thought he was Joe's friend, yada, yada. She slaps
Rafe across the face, just as Jordan comes rushing in, pulling her away. Marge is out of control, Jordan is calling security, Rafe stops her, Marge calms down, and finally leaves. Rafe says he is o.k., doing better than Marge is. Jordan is going to cancel the afternoon session, after all Rafe has been through. Nope, he wants to get out of that bed, stand on his own two feet. He has someone he needs to deal with. (ahhh, gooo Rafe!)
Marlena is with Victor, trying to return the flashdrive. They argue over and over about her being able to get close enough to Kristen to get hold of her phone. Finally, Marlena keeps the drive, and leaves.
Kristen is in the park talking with the gal who made the video for her, learning this is not the right drive, having a fit. The gal leaves, Kristen remembers the Nicole/Marlena encounter, realizes Nicole wasn't drunk, they were in on it together, wonders why Marlena has not used it yet, realizes she probably doesn't know what she had. She leaves.
Nicole is in the rectory, telling ERic she is going to leave. He is very upset, but she is determined. He gets called away, tells her to wait. When he returns, she is packing up a box of her things from the desk. He tries persuading her to stay to no avail. She tells of how he is helping Brady & Kristen to marry, doing pre-Cana, when he knows she is going to hurt Brady in the end. Eric claims he is doing this to see if he can find something out, know what is going on. He finally asks Nicole to think about her decision for 24 hrs. She agrees, then he mentions how she won't talk to him about that night at the Capital. She says that she won't talk about it because she doesn't know anything. Nothing, and she walks out.
marlena arrives at her office to find Kristen in her chair, at her desk, asked if she is moonlighting as a locksmith. They do some verbal sparring. Marlena has thrown her purse on the desk, the flash drive slips out. She gets a call and leaves the room, so Kristen starts searching thru desk drawers, to no avail, then spots the drive atop the desk. She jumps up to go round the desk (while any one of us would have just reached across) when Marlena returns. Now Kristen has been pretending that she is there to talk with Marlena about throwing an engagement party for her daughter and Kristen's brother, after all they will be family of sorts after the wedding, especially with Kristen & Brady marrying, too.
Now she hurries out, telling Marlena they will get together again to plan this.
Marlena takes her purse and goes to the Pub to meet up with Victor, telling how Kristen was sitting in Marlena's chair at her desk, when Marlena arrived. She is up to something. Victor asks why she was there. Marlena laughs when talking about how Kristen figures they should get together to plan an engagement party. Victor asks if Marlena is to bring the champagne punch, and Kristen the strychnine. ? They both laugh. Marlena knows Kristen is up to something, thinks they have to be very careful now.
Kristen meets with her tech geek in the park again. No, she doesn't have the drive, but knows who does. She will do whatever is needed now to get it back. The gal says, except kill someone, you would not do that. Kristen is silent.
