At the Brady house, Bo & Hope return home. Hope looks around as Bo tells her that they have to go to Doug & Julie's to pick up Ciara in a few minutes. Turns out Doug, Julie & Ciara are there to surprise Hope. Doug is thrilled to have Hope home. Julie announces that they have been helping Ciara plan the most beautiful Valentine's Day dinner for Bo & Hope & the table awaits in the dining room. Bo & Hope look each other uncomfortably. Bo thanks Ciara for all the trouble she went to setup the dinner but thinks it's a better idea to have dinner as a family to which Hope agrees. A very happy Ciara tells everyone she'll go & put out more dishes & declines Doug's help. Julie apologizes to Bo & Hope about letting Ciara get carried away with the Valentine's idea. A smiling Bo wonders if it was all entirely Ciara's idea as a smiling Hope looks on. Hope talks to Doug & Julie about her & Bo & even though they live under the same roof, it doesn't mean they're together. Doug & Julie understand & Doug tells Hope that she needs to play low-key as he tells her what she needs to do with a scheming twinkle in his eye.
Later, Bo & Hope talk about the big day in the living room. Bo suggests they clean up the next day & to go to bed. Hope tells him that perhaps they need to go back in time & this time maybe they'll get it right. She introduces herself as Hope Williams & he plays along asking if she'd like to go out with him to which she tells him to give her a call before bidding him goodnight & heads upstairs.
At the Dimera mansion, Nicole is telling Taylor to go to Ballistix to pick up the dress & charge it to the Dimera account. They discuss how happy they are to work things out & Taylor will be in the wedding. Taylor wants to know when she gets to meet her future brother-in-law. Nicole tells her that EJ's very busy but assures her that she'll like him when they meet. They talk about how Nicole is marrying EJ & how Taylor is worried about it. Nicole assures her that she loves the kids & how she's starting to remember what it was that she liked about EJ the first time round - even though he's a Dimera, he's got a heart!
Later, EJ returns to find Nicole all dolled up & has a drink for him. They wish each other a Happy Valentine's Day & she gives him the cards from Johnny & Sydney. She also gives him one from her. EJ teases her on the card & tells her he didn't get her a card but has gotten her a gift. Nicole thanks him for the diamond earrings & wonders if it's possible that he really likes her & he answers with a kiss. Nicole puts on her earrings as EJ looks at the cards from the kids. Nicole tells him that she thinks this time around, they've earned their happiness & doesn't think that disaster will happen & EJ agrees.
On the pier, EJ flashes back to the scarf scene with Taylor & tells himself that he hopes he never sees her again as he'll be getting married. Later he comes back to meet Rafe2 who complains loudly that the pretty boy in the basement set him up. Rafe2 goes on to explain the cookie situation & how he told Allie where to stick the cookies (in not so many colourful words) & left. EJ tells him to shut up & tells him to get the right cookies & go back & tell Allie that he was just playing a game. EJ wonders if he got a Valentine's Day gift for Sami to which it's a negative response. EJ tells him to pick up long stem roses & a specific type of chocolate (he tells Rafe2 he's had history with her so knows this info), go back, apologize & romance Sami. EJ also tells him to wait for a text & call before he does the deed so that EJ can torment & get back at Rafe for lying to them. Rafe2 leaves as Taylor walks by from another direction talking with Nicole on the phone & telling her how the dress fits before reAlliezing that EJ's there. EJ tells her he was thinking of her & Taylor replies that she was doing the same because she wanted to return his expensive scarf. EJ tells her to keep it as it's more important that she's warm. Taylor tells him she doesn't know his name & EJ tells her that it's probably better that way. He tells her he has a meeting & must leave but wonders if he'll ever see her again. Taylor tells him they'll just have to leave it up to fate.
In the Dimera basement, Rafe is hoping that Sami will figure out that there's something wrong with Rafe2 when he doesn't get the right cookies. Later, EJ visits & yells at Rafe for lying & he didn't want to do this to Allie but he's a man of his word. A distraught Rafe tells him he didn't mean to & he forgot & to not let Allie pay for his mistake. Rafe tells EJ how he always got the cookies & assumed that it came with nuts & to not punish Allie. EJ tells him he has one reprieve & to never let it happen again before he leaves.
Later, Marco is there with a cell phone for him. Rafe gets a call from Rafe2 who's gloating about how he's about to have sex with his wife, etc. & how she can't tell the difference. Rafe is extremely upset & angry & threatens to kill him if he lays a hand on her but Rafe2 alludes to the fact that he already has. Sami comes out of the bedroom in a negligee & wonders if Rafe2 is coming to bed while Rafe is screaming into the phone "No!" Rafe2 tells Rafe that he'd better go as the "wife's" waiting & hangs up. Marco wants the phone back & as he reaches for it, Rafe grabs him in a neck hold until he's unconscious. The phone falls & breaks but Rafe manages to find the keys to the cell & vows to go & save Sami from Rafe2.
At the apartment, Sami arrives home in time to see Allie tell Rafe2 that she likes cookies with nuts as Rafe rants about getting the wrong cookies. As he apologizes to Sami & uses the accident as an excuse for his action, she tells a "frustrated" Rafe2 that they understand what he's going through & it's just cookies. She leaves Allie with him as she goes to the medicine cabinet to retrieve his pills. Allie stands by the couch repeating that she likes chocolate chip cookies with nuts as Rafe2 sarcastically tells her that in life she doesn't always get what she wants & he heard her the first time before getting up, picking up the bag of cookies, throws it in the trash & tells a very sad looking Allie that now she's not going to get any cookies before grabbing his jacket and leaving. Sami come out wondering what happened & Allie tells her that Rafe2 is really mean to her. A worried Sami hugs her.
Later Sami returns from seeing Kayla (see below) & Rafe comes out of the bedroom & apologizes about earlier & how he's just frustrated about forgetting things. He shows her the new bag of cookies & she exclaims how Allie will be very happy. Sami forgives him & he gifts her with the roses & chocolates. She's thrilled & goes to change into something more Valentine's Day worthy. Rafe2 takes the opportunity to read his text message & then calls Rafe to taunt him about Sami (see above) before he starts getting hot & heavy with Sami on the couch.
At the Java Cafe, Maggie looks at a photo of her & Mickey & wishes him a Happy Anniversary. Brady comes in wanting to talk to Maggie about Victor. Brady explains to Maggie about how he wouldn't hoist Vivian & Gus to safety until she signed some documents he had to which she complied without reading them over & so now Brady has control of the company. A shocked Maggie wonders how he could've done something like that. Maggie calls him out on what he has done to Victor & how long he had worked to make the company what it is & to take it away from him like this, he would be heartbroken. Brady thinks about it for about 5 seconds & tells her Victor'll get over it & tells her she's "free" before taking his leave.
Later, Taylor comes into the Java Cafe with her dress & tells Nicole on the phone how she met a guy who wouldn't give her his name (EJ). Nicole teases her about it before they hang up as Nicole needed to go get changed. Taylor goes to the counter to order coffee & runs into Brady (guess he came back) who wanted to talk to her. He offers her a job as the head of Marketing at Titan to which she refuses, citing that she just patched things up with Nicole & doesn't want anything to jeopardize that. She also tells him that Brady & her just broke up & Nicole used to be married to Victor & so she doesn't want anything to do with anyone in Nicole's past now or in the future. She asks him if the job offer was to help her or to hurt Nicole.
At the Kiriakis mansion, Victor is yelling at someone on the phone about how his grandson stole his company & he wants it back. Later, Maggie goes to visit Victor & Henderson tells her he's not accepting visitors but lets her in. She goes to the living room & sees Victor standing by the fireplace & thinking deeply.
At the pub, Stephanie helps Caroline bring her suitcases upstairs leaving her with Kayla to chat. Kayla tells Caroline that she needs to go back for a conference as Sami comes in with Allie. Allie welcomes Grandma home as Sami talks to Kayla about Rafe2. Sami explains how Rafe2 forgets & gets agitated & wants to know when it'll be over as she's very worried. Kayla assures her & tells her to be patient, there'll be things he'll never remember & things he'll need to relearn as it was a brain injury but over time, things will be better. Sami wonders if Kayla can reassure her everyday & she agrees, if she calls her in Africa. Sami goes upstairs to check on Allie as Stephanie joins her mom. Kayla wonders about how Stephanie is doing. Stephanie assures her she's reAlliezed that she became a different person being so obsessed with Nathan & she feels like she's woken up from a bad dream. Stephanie tells her it's okay & not to worry about her & Kayla is comforted.
