The fake Salem, Illinois is close to Chicago .. which, stated above, is hours from St Louis.

The show goes to great pains to NEVER say what state it is located in.

It's funny like that, but since everyone goes to Chicago, is a Cubs & Bears fan, I am guessing it must be Illinois .

While that does seem to be the case, they completely go out of their way to never say it. Mail is addressed to "Salem, USA".
