I don't know about how the tarnished couples fans view that statement but if my fiancé/boyfriend ever said that to me....well you get the picture. Oh but wait Sami is afraid of him when he strong arms her, shades of an abused person.

I did also find it odd that they showed the same scene twice: at the beginning they showed the 3 ladies pushing Nick into the river. Then at the end they showed flashback of the exact same scene again. 3x in 2 days--that's a bit extreme I think. They could have just shown Sami's earring.

Yup I said that a few times in other threads...I can totally see them going down the blackmail path with EJ and Sami.

LOL! Isn't that how they roll with one another? Blackmailing one another is how they express true love for each other. It brings out their passion they love to display so much.

It sure looked like crackheads at a crackhouse instead of cokeheads. That was way too much coke for only a few users to have let alone strung out ones.

Now Sami & EJ are both keeping something from each other.

Lucas was nice to see again.

Gabi, Sami & Kate still so funny. I liked Kate explaining to Gabi how she would look guilty by the way she acted towards Nick in front of everyone at the Square, but didn't care for Sami mentioning rape. Gabi wasn't raped. She was sexually assaulted. I guess the show left it open to blurred lines that there could or couldn't have been an attempted rape but even with what Nick said & did there wasn't indication of clothes about to be torn off or rape going to happen. At least to me. There just wasn't enough proof to show an intent of rape, but definitely sexual assault.

Eric telling off Nicole was wrong. He just expects her to forgive him after all he said to her, after what he threw in her face and wouldn't listen to her but instead believed the worse without forgiveness and she should just forget it all because he said he was sorry! That's not going to happen that quickly and he should have just apologized kept his mouth shut and walked away.

Eric was right to not appreciate Nicole wanting to use his plight to further her career ambitions. Nicole is not a total angel in Eric's memory file. She lied to him about having cancer so he would dump her sister, then she betrayed/parlayed his love for her into a five million dollar payoff from Kate. History is often written over or ignored in soap writing, many times for good reasons, but in this case, you have to think it is in the back of his mind. Nicole dumped Eric for money once, now she wants to use him once again to her advantage. He has just come out of a traumatic experience, is living with his own guilt over accusing her wrongly as well, so I have to give him the point in this encounter. I still want to see a story with these two, and know it is going to have bumps and bruises like this one.

Did anyone notice that "river" was so small no boats could have navigated it?? I suppose it's a creek leading to Salem's river where the sailboats and big ships come in, lol!!

The river scene was campy but I enjoyed it. Love the back and forth glances between Sami and Kate...so totally aggravated with their new "apprentice". If only they knew that she has already been the instigator of a devious plot. We don't need the witches of Eastwick when we have the Wenches of Salem!

Some could view it as not choosing love first. As I recall, none of that would've happened if Nicole trusted Eric enough to tell him the truth & not lie when asked about who Jay was. Trust was always the issue with Nicole & Eric. She continually broke his trust in her.

True. Then again, none of the characters on Days ever tell the truth right away, do they ? Plus, even when Nicole does tell the truth, it comes back to haunt her. How many people now know she was forced into porn movies as a child ? Yet, how many are still cruel and call her a "porn star" ? (Hope comes to mind.) So really, no matter what Nicole does, she's on the losing end.

But I'm afraid we went off topic and we might get reminded of that. So... I'm sorry everyone ! Carry on !
