Wouldn't use of this cell phone app in the manner that Ben is using it be as illegal as a wire tap at home or on a telephone? Just curious. I would tend to think so.
LOL... I guess it depends on your perspective. But, while cheating is immoral, stalking is illegal. Which is "worse" is subjective, but I would say being the victim of a stalker is potentially way worse than being the victim of a cheater - even though both situations could be very hurtful. What is worse, cheating, or stalking? Either way, I reckon Abby/Ben could deem the situation a push.
NikkiFan, you make some very good points!
And when is the last time you saw someone arrested and convicted of adultery??? Those laws are like the ones that say you can't allow your goat to graze on your front lawn between 7:00 and 5:00 on Sundays.Adultery is still a crime in 23 states; a felony in some.
All states have those bizarre and obscure laws still on the books. Chances of being arrested and convicted of them are slim to none.In Texas, it's still against the law to spit on the sidewalk
But the fact remains, no one is going to be arrested or convicted of committing adultery. Dealing with a divorce or lawsuit for "breach of promise" is a completely different matter.JS, those adultery laws, though uninforced, still serve in good stead in states that do not yet have no-fault divorce laws. And, once in a while, someone gets sued for "breach of promise."
but Justin was the one who began, and did so for a long period of time. The only reason it stopped was when Victor would not let him go back to Dubai.
Had they made any kind of commitment to each other? Did she really "cheat"?In Abby & Ben's situation, she was not even engaged to Ben when she & Chad had sex.
