well... i'm not in Florida or Georgia...but I'm in direct line to be hit by Idalia (i'm in Charleston, SC).... anywho...so far, just a tornado (it's gone now, and my home and my family are all accounted for and just fine)... the worst of the storm hits later tonight. I'll be home and hunkered down by then. Just finishing up some things here at work. praying all stay safe! Idalia is a beast.

DaysLady, I just heard on tv that the storm is hitting your state. Saying a prayer for all of you in the path. I can't imagine living with hurricanes.

That demonstration of the categories makes me glad I’ve only experienced a Category 1 hurricane. Stay safe everyone!

all is well. other than the few tornadoes that hit my area, nothing too major. one of the tornados flipped a car just 20 minutes from my house...I'm more afraid of tornadoes than I am of hurricane's. I'll take a cat 2-3 hurricane over ANY tornado of any size, any day. hurricane or tornado 4 and up - and i'm packing my kids and animals in the car and headed out. haha..mama don't mess with 4 and up anything!
