My guess is Thomas too, just based on who was behind the announcement. I also hope this means his mommy will be back to normal very soon and away from StefaNope.

This is an adorable little boy, but I am surprised the show did not hire twins to play him, as they have with most kids needed who are that small.

It's really unusual when shows/movies don't use twins (or triplets/quads) to play babies or little kids.

A quick look at the Salem kids seems to show that Days didn't start using twins until Stephanie and Jeannie T were born, followed by Brady and Abby. Newborn Brady was actually played by triplets. (same as newborn EJ and baby Zack)

I'm not sure, but I think the twin thing started happening because they tightened the rules for child actors a lot in the 1980s. I can remember when Eric and Sami were little they were always napping. It drove my mom nuts. Now as a grownup I understand why the show does it.

Or when the baby/toddler is playing/napping in a playpen or crib with a blanket thrown over the side that faces the camera.

Frankly I prefer the "napping" or "with the nanny" excuse to the baby doll with a bad foley (sound) effect. LOL
