It has been added that the photo is from early 1985........right before Victor's introduction, the Pawn's arrival, and Orpheus kidnapping Marlena.

Andrea Barber (played Carrie Brady) is the little girl sitting on the ground in the front of the picture.

Michael Leon (Pete Jannings) is supposed to be in there, but I can't pick him out.

The ones I recognize is, Lower left corner is Shane, With Chris Kositchek behind him. Beside of Shane is Patsy Pease (Kimberly) Not sure I think the blond is a young Sami..... then Caroline Brady, then Melissa, then Pete stands behind her, then Hope and Bo, then Neil Curtis, then Maggie, and in front of her with his parents, Tom and Alice, was Mickey, then Anna De Mara and Tony.....and in the upper right corner is Patch (Stephen Nichols)...

Sami and Eric were toddlers when this picture was taken, so the blond you think is a young Sami is Emma Donovan, Shane's crazy ex-wife.

I am not doubting that, but look at Melissa, Hope and some of the others and they are not toddlers. How much time do the PTB think is between them and Sami and Eric....? For my own information.... Thanks JS

But the woman you are saying is a young Sami could not be a young Sami, as the twins were toddlers when this picture was taken.

The young blond you're referring to is actress Jane Windsor, who played Emma Donovan, ex-wife of Shane.

As to the current ages of the twins (Sami and Eric), they are approximately in their 30's, but due to SORAS (soap opera rapid aging syndrome) the rest of the adults ages are holding somewhere in their 50's.

I went and checked on ages of a few characters. Hope was born Jan of 1974, and backed up to Dec 1963, and that means next Christmas time Hope will hit the big 50's, and Sami was born 1987 and backed up to 1977. Oh my goodness, she will be 36. Time just flies when one has such a good time. Writers privileges to do such things to the ages of these characters is unfair...

Look at all the years Hope has been ten years older than she really is, if one goes by when she was born. Most women want to shave years off their ages, not add ten years to the age of the person... She is good.
