Prayers for Bob

Hi everyone,
My grandma's boyfriend, Bob, had a stroke yesterday afternoon, and is in the ICU in the hospital. She is at her church today praying before she visits him in the hospital again. He is one of the nicest and funniest people I have met, and he and my grandma are so in love, and I have never seen her so happy. He has high blood pressure and a head injury. Just wanted to ask for prayers for him, I hope that is OK. Thanks.

Thanks so much everyone! My grandma visited him last night and said he was able to talk, and his blood pressure has gone down quite a bit. Still haven't heard about the head injury, but will post as soon as I do.

Just talked to my grandma. She is visiting him now, and says that he thanks you all, and others who prayed for him, for the support. No word yet on when he'll be released, but he will probably have physical therapy.

I just saw this thread. I'm so sorry to hear about Bob! He is most definitely in my thoughts and prayers for a speedy and full recovery!

Just got an update from my grandma. Bob is moving to another room, not the ICU. He had a MRI the other day, but is claustrophobic, so they waited till he was asleep to do it. He had lost some of his memory from the fall, but is doing better now.

Oh my, I just saw this DaysD. I pray that Bob will be okay. My thoughts and prayers go out to him. Know that he is blessed.

Daysdegrassi,, I look at this in a special way. God gave the world your Grandma, and she was responsible for the eventual arrival of you, and Bob is the one that makes her so happy, and so that is enough for me.... Prayers are on their way now again, and may the Blessings of His love never Cease.. He is getting some great care, and lots of love in return for the love she has shared with him, look how wonderfully she has taken care of her High School Graduate. What goes around, comes back ten fold......
