Thanks everyone for the well wishes. I'm here, and I'm surviving, but as I mentioned on Facebook, the first two days had been enough to slap the Southern Hospitality out of any man.
Every single thing that could go wrong, has in fact gone wrong. Movers late, cleaners late, could only fit 1/2 my stuff in the trailer, the 3 hour drive from Chesapeake to DC took 5.5 hours due to traffic, leaving me "homeless" with two frightened and angry kitties for Saturday night. Everything to hook up the TV or computer is 200 miles away, meaning I can't even watch TV. Need I go on?
Life will get better though. I just have to survive the initial shock and financial hurricane.
