In the past, Mr. Corday has made statements which proved to not be true at all, also promised things that never happened. And yes, I believe he, himself, is not told the truth at times. But if he kept an eye on things every day, as his parents did, he would know the truth.
I do remember how some pregnancies were hidden from the public, as the character was not pregnant. Mary Beth Evans was 7 months pregnant when she did that hot, steamy, rooftop love scene with Steven Nichols...and you could not tell, even though she wore a nightgown. LOL
But yes, usually big purses, tall plants, and sitting behind a table is how they usually disguise pregnancies. Plus, of course, filming mostly chest upwards.
