Stefano's interest in Abby

I wonder if the writers even knew at this point. I thought about the possibilities of it being the Abby/EJ baby but then why would he want her? She's as fickle as Sami was about the DiMera men so why would Stefano want that headache again? Just keep raising it in secret.

I liked Kate best with Stefano too. He was an idiot to set her up to fail and she was an idiot to fall for it.
