Tougher than Any Salemite

Actor Mike Connors who played the private detective Mannix back in the late 60s and early 70s has died at age 91. Salemites are famous for how often the are shot or go into comas, but Mannix beats them all. According to the Connors obituary, Mannix was shot a total of 17 times and was beaten into unconsciousness on 55 occasions. Even coma king John Black can't top that. The link to Mike Connors's N.Y. I never watched Mannix, that I can recall, but I saw Mike Connors in lots of shows and always enjoyed him. Sad that so many of the good ones are leaving.
