Come on, look, do you really think the writers could think of that? :)

If anything, they'll have Ava, rely on her memory of what and who is written in that book, coming up with a backstory that supports her extraordinary powers of recollection, drawing out the current storylines for 1 more year, only to nicely wrap it up by Ava remembering she has a photographic memory and relaying all information to proper authorities and arresting Clyde again.

Snowed in at the Horton Cabin, Johnny and Chanel spend their honeymoon with Julie.
Brady and Theresa tell Tate he needs to keep his distance from Holly.
Stefan hires Sloan to defend him.
EJ holds a press conference.

Tuesday, April 16, 2024
Johnny and Julie become concerned when Chanel goes missing in the snowstorm.
Paulina continues with her treatment and Sarah checks on her.
EJ tries to dodge reporters, but Chad and Xander stop him from leaving.
Ava and Harris pack up her things as she prepares to move.

Wednesday, April 17, 2024
Paulina joins the search for missing Chanel.
Marlena prays that John is ready for the truth when he receives some information about his time in Aria, Greece.
Eric is confused by his and Sloan’s financial situation.
Konstantin panics when he loses something of great value to him.

Alex tells Theresa some unfortunate news about Bella.
Maggie makes a bold move to help Konstantin stay in the country.
Kristen and Stefan try to figure out a way to keep EJ from becoming CEO of DiMera.
Wendy shares with Tripp that she feels afraid.
Ava and Harris discuss their need to get into the Bistro and recover Gil’s black book for Clyde.

Friday, April 19, 2024
Jada overhears Rafe telling Everett to sign the divorce papers.
Marlena and John babysit Jude.
Chad and Thomas share family time together.
Everett lies to Stephanie when he tells her the hypnosis therapy is helping.
Maggie and Konstantin discuss their impending wedding.
 
Hopefully, John will start to remember his past before Maggie marries Konstantin.

If there's bad weather coming, why did Julie go to the island?

Will Eric wonder why Sloan is buying men's clothing? I think Leo is using her credit card.

Will Sloan ask Stefan for a big retainer to help pay her bills?

Is Ava moving in with Harris above the pub?
 
Maggie marrying Kreepy Kruddy Krummy Krazy Konstantin. Gag, barf, hurl, vomit, and likewise throw up.

Ava and Harris going together to get the book. Hopefully Harris has a plan to set Clyde up big time and end this stupid, moronic, boring as dirt, should have never been storyline.

Some honeymoon with Julie there.
 
Maggie needs to see Marlena for even thinking about marrying Konstantin. I just hope they don't consummate this sham of a marriage.

Harris has a job, can't he afford an apartment, or even a room at Salem Inn? Is he living above the Pub rent free?

EJ holds a press conference: What a bad idea: EJ babbling to the press will be a PR disaster.

Maggie makes a move to keep Konstantin in the country: Immigration should have this slimeball on the first plane to Athens.

Paulina joins the search for Chanel: The Smith Islanders might mistake a snow-covered Paulina tromping around in the dense woods for a polar bear.

So..........Maggie offers to marry the slime bug who is pretending to be good friend of Victor! Yeah, without checking to see if he really does have a visa about to expire. Give Me a Break.!!!

Yep, dragging out the stories til May Sweeps, or (since this was filmed a while back) not wanting to ruffle any feathers til the writers' strike was over. (this is still temp writers, but their work will be ending soon)
 
At least Johnny's coat looks like a warm one. Days is notorious for NOT dressing their characters according to season or circumstances. i.e. it is raining, no umbrellas, but worse, no one's hair is wet! Early spring in midwest where Salem is located, temps are 40s, maybe 50...........Salemites in sleeveless, midriffs & guys in tank tops. Mid winter, no one has a cap, hat, or even earmuffs, it snows...none on the hair, and as with rain, no hair is wet. For sure no gloves or mittens. Women in high heels and there is snow and ice. Sorry Days, but those who live or visit areas with different weather patterns are not stupid. Too bad Salemites seem to be devoid of smarts in that dept.
