I can see them hitting a few snags, but I see the wedding going through. The actor is sticking around for a while, and the writers want to give Sonny and Will an obstacle to keep them apart.

A couple of thoughts..
Tripp comforting Kayla...read that and had shivers. Hope it is comforting and not "comforting " the Days sick and twisted view of how things are made better

Sheila replacing Abe as the go to person now to marry folks??? Did the church pick up and leave town??(not that they might sanction this particular wedding several other wedding attempts have missed the church)

Julie remembering could be good for a flashback show....but with Lucas leaving and shenanigans about the wedding it could be the C or D story so longtime fans who would enjoy the visits back in time will be left in the dust

Still no word on Xander or Jack. .yet

Sonny and Leo's wedding ceremony is interrupted. [That it's being interrupted is no surprise. What is something of a surprise is that the Big Boy actually caved to Leo's absurd blackmail scheme.]

Friday December 14:
Julie sneaks into Gabi's bedroom, hoping to get the goods on her. [Julie had better be careful that none of her cruise brochures fall out of her purse while she's channeling her inner Bo Brady by breaking and entering.]
Abigail breaks into Kayla's office to find proof of Gabi's deception. [OMG, another would-be Bo Brady. Abigail just better hope that Kayla keeps her records in an orderly condition or she'll still be looking when interrupted by janitorial services.]

I'm glad I'm not the only one who shuddered when reading that. On a taped interview on the new app, someone apparently asked Mary Beth Evans (Kayla) if it was possible for a pairing with Kayla and Tripp. She looked horrified. So, hopefully they won't go there.
If they do, I'm done with the new stuff and will will bury myself in the 80s episodes and cry through a gallon of ice cream.

First of all, Abigail shouldn’t have any trouble finding what she wants in Kayla’s office. Nothing is locked up, the computer is always on and patient files are openly displayed on her desk.
Sonny, Leo, and Will.......going to the Keystone Cops is more like going up the down escalator.
Get Victor involved, Leo is gone for good and we can have an end to this hideous story. But alas
Leo is on contract so the idiocy continues. I switch to HSN when these three are on screen

So, all of this time Kayla has had the original paternity test results and never bothered as Abby's doctor to look at the results? We would have been spared this nightmare of Gabi switching the test results if she had looked at the test for Abby when she gave her the test.
