Enough of the nonsense with Nicole & Eric!

If Nicole decided to move on with EJ, then let her! As should have happened with Rafe. If Eric decided to be with Sloan, let him! If that's not what they want, then stop making those be possibilities! It's old, boring, stale, not creative, and irritating to the entire fanbase, regardless of whether or not they want Eric & Nicole together.
 
Feb 27, 1998 is the day when Arianne Zucker (Nicole) started on Days. I think they are doing something special
that week since it's her 25th anniversary on the show. Will they show flashbacks of the previous Eric?
 
I totally agree with DaysD. Stop all the back and forth, be with the person you want to be with! It is unfair for Johnny to date Wendy when he knows he wants Chanel. Maybe that is the question Wendy asks him, and he needs to be honest. But in Salem, honesty is not on the menu.

Chanel blindsiding Johnny has to be that she and Allie are done for good, does he want to try again?

What kind of understanding do Chloe and Stefan have? He will see her every other day, alternating with Gabi? Oh, and if there is an opera in NY she wants to see, he will escort her?

I actually don't mind seeing Nicole and Eric's first meeting, but once and for all, they should either get over it or remarry. We all thought that when they married, that would be that, but he put Nicole on the back burner while he went on his mission. He should have come home for good after the first three months or not gone at all. I understand the humanitarian aspect of the mission, but his decision had negative consequences.

Rex offers Sarah a solution: Dull Dr. Rexy is not a solution to anyone’s problems.

Chad, Justin, etc. say farewell to Sonny: Shouldn’t Leo be there too to say ta-ta to his pal, Jackson.
 
Days sure doesn't seem to be making much sense these days.......Sounds like they had a deck of cards with stupid, silly situations on them, threw the deck in the air, and whatever cards landed in front of ReRon........however nonsensical, became a scene. :rotfl:

So Wendy asks Tripp to move in......with her, Li & Gabi???
Does Stefan's stunning realization mean he realizes he is really Jake??
Wonder how Kate "wakes up" after being cremated??
LOL, shocking news for Sarah? She got fired? Or is she really married to Rex? Then again Xander wonders if they still have a chance. I know, her medical degree is not valid. !!!
Guess Alex figures he must be next in line to head up Titan, since Sonny is leaving for New Zealand. Would Victor really be o.k. with that?
 
it is odd that parents are so wrapped in their children's sex life on this show..... I mean Eric should be trying to make nice with Jada the almost mother of his child... but then again I'm still waiting for a child from Africa to appear looking for Daddy because something bad happened in Africa
 
This would make a fine plot robinsnest: a missionary arrives in Salem to report that there’s a remote village that now has a large number of little Erics. As Roman says “what da hell,” Nicole gasps, Sami smirks, and EJ and Xander collapse in laughter, the missionary starts a fund drive to help support these unfortunate children. (Imagine a collection box on the Pub’s bar where customers can drop change and bills to help the cause.)

Actually, being with Sloan could be a plus for sorry Eric. All those people who say a do things that put the “hurt” look on his face might think twice if they thought that shyster Sloan might sue them for intentional infliction of emotional distress.
 
I’m giving Days until the end of March to give me something worth my time daily, and then I’m moving on. With these spoilers, it doesn’t look good. This is the lowest opinion I’ve ever had for the storylines.

Even ones I looked forward to, like Gabi and Stefan reuniting, are turning into more torture. I’m sick of the inconsistent writing and endless choice of misery over happiness. For every story going, I can think of a more entertaining version where people enjoy a relationship and establish meaningful connection between dramas and traumas. But no, let’s tear people apart as soon as they get together (sometimes within DAYS of reconciliation, looking at you Eric and Nicole TWICE).

They’ve forgotten that the reason people loved couples like Bo and Hope is that we saw them stay together and fight through things as a couple. It wasn’t all love triangles and breaking up. The break ups don’t matter if we never see people happy! Otherwise, it’s all terribly immature. “We were never happy for more than a week, but I’m clinging to this person like grim death and willing to do dastardly things to hang onto them” over and over. Soon, Sloan will be ready to push someone off a roof herself over a few weeks of sex and steak dinners with Eric. It’s absurd. Some of these characters are in their 40s and 50s.

Who wants Bo and Hope in the hands of these writers, ruining the good times with utter nonsense? Bringing them back will backfire if they keep this up. I’d rather just remember the good times.

I still have hope for Rafe and Jada’s romance or for them to stop this dumb stuff with Stefan and two women. I hope the dead women are out of hell by St. Patrick’s Day. We’ll see. I’m probably setting myself up for disappointment.
