Don't tell me it contradicts what we saw - literally anything is possible if the writers deem it so.

Wait, what is wrong with this picture??? Orpheus is supposed to be wearing a baseball cap, not a hoodie. Everyone knows a baseball cap and sunglasses renders one invisible in Salem.
