There's a tweet or article somewhere around here that said the actor wasn't taping any longer. And a comment from either Ron Carlivati or Corday saying they were "resting" the character for a while.

great if they started singing together. (actor played Brady when Chloe
and he were dating)

Will Susan know if the mystery man is EJ or not? Will we ever know the truth?

I hadn't seen that, but I was aware of the first one. Resting him from what? One story in a year?

OK, I went searching for the comments. While Bryan Dattilo (Lucas) was apparently done taping sometime in June, the comments about "resting" the character came from a website, not from Ron Carlivati/Corday/NBC. But it does seem how they use the character. He comes to Salem for a bit, goes off somewhere, then returns. Wash, rinse, repeat.

I really hope this means Sami finds out the mystery man ISN'T her smoochy-moochy.
