It's Valentine's Day in Salem!

Theresa, Nicole, Abigail, Rafe, Ciara, and Ava have very telling, cinematic dreams about their various romantic predicaments, with a different genre of movie serving as the backdrop for each one.
 
Good Grief! I wonder if Nicole will get another film noir. Knowing how romance has recently been depicted, I wouldn't be at all surprised if the cinematic dreams were something like:


Theresa – Gone With the Wind. Scarlett (Theresa) is so stupid she doesn’t believe it when Rhett (Brady) says “Frankly, my dear, I don’t give a damn! She believes she’s so irresistible that Rhett will return “tomorrow” …. which is another Days of Our Lives episode.

Nicole – Titanic. Rose (Nicole) is saved by her wonderfully brave and selfless love whose heart will go on and on.

Abigail – Godfather. Kay (Abigail) is doomed to an unhappy life when Michael (Chad) refuses to leave his crime family.

Rafe – Turner and Hootch. Hootch (Rafe) dreams of his love for Turner (Hope); it is drool-worthy.

Ciara – My Bloody Valentine. Megan (Ciara) and Sarah (Belle) have a “kick-back” at an abandoned mine where a disaster previously occurred. Ciara’s boyfriend Tom (Chase) is left behind when a murderous rampage occurs, but eventually returns for his true love and paints a message on her body after he kills her saying “Be Mine Forever”.

Ava – Misery. After gaining some weight, Annie (Ava) takes Paul (Steve) prisoner. She hobbles and ties him up so he can never leave her.
 
The Valentine's dreams sound intriguing. I like when the show breaks away from the evil & misery that pervades Salem, to have a bit of fun. At least I hope they are fun.

Andre' actually befriends Chase, who lost his father because of Andre'! Ugh. Of course Andre' has a "reason" but, this means no one has learned about the DiMeras blackmailing Aiden with his gambling debts to kill Hope. Another Ugh.

Wasn't Hope's home on fire once before? Some years ago?

Wonder how John plans to bring down the assassin school? Actually, it would be the bosses there,....right? Probably means Eduardo is helping, too. ??
 
Fynn and Lani? That breaks one of the primary rules of soaps. Shame on you Josh Griffith!

Considering the people they chose for this...I'm not looking forward to it. But I do appreciate the effort they're putting forth at special episodes, and making the show look better.

Steve and Ava receive stunning news about their son. [Steve, unless it turns out that thanks to SORASing your son is really John Black or Andre, nothing could be all that stunning.]

Tuesday February 9:

Fynn flirts with Lani. [Run for your life Lani. This guy is a player. He makes the late Dr. McScruffy look like a chaste homebody.]

Wednesday February 10:

Armed with an agenda, Andre befriends Chase. [Andre, who knew you were so good at making friends. And how did Chase react to your now-battered face?]

Thursday February 11:

A dangerous fire breaks out at Hope’s house! [OMG, not again. At least this time it's not the fault of Willow Stark.]

John resolves to bring down the agency that made him an assassin – much to Marlena’s dismay. [Oh John, another "bringing down" effort. It didn't work so well for you with the DiMeras. What makes you think it will go any better this time?]

Friday February 12:

It's Valentine's Day in Salem!

Yes, EJ paid Willow to search (for reasons that are no longer clear) the Brady home. When he wrote her a check for her services (perhaps at Chez Rouge), he had her bend over and used her back as a writing surface. While there, she accidentally set the place on fire. (Around this time, for some reason, EJ was very interested in what was going on in the loving Brady home. He and Philip broke into the place and planted a spy device that had been designed by Billie. If memory serves, EJ had the device because Billie wanted Mythic to market it.)

They have nothing to do with anybody else on the show. We'll have to see if this is part of a group scene or something, but it's generally bad form to have two new characters sharing scenes without other characters.
 
I thought Lani was Abe's daughter? We have seen Lani, Abe & Theo having dinner a couple of times, And Lani is always listening & watching Rafe at work.
Fynn evidently did the surgery on Brady, looked after Jennifer & Eric, and had been a good friend of Daniel's. We have also seen him with Nicole in a scene or two.
So.....am not getting what you mean here either, Jason?????
Unless you mean having 2 fairly new characters hanging together??? Heck, the teens are all doing it. LOL
