And yes, I remember when Steve & Kayla were in the same room under quarantine. I think it might have been due to something Stefano did, but I remember Benji coming to visit and signing to them thru the window.

So we deal with Aiden's return and attempts to explain whatever happened to him...... all week?

Am guessing that Hope telling Ciara about Aiden may be what make Ciara all the more determined to move out???

Hope darling, you should go talk with your bestie cousin as she has buried her husband a couple of times only to have him come back. Or if Jenny is too high to make intelligent conversation, go talk to the sick Kayla who has buried her husband only to have him return. OR you could call your dead stepdaughter Georgia, oh wait, Chelsea, and discuss your confusion about having someone dead return.

Just what I like in my medical professionals, working while sick and spreading the flu to everyone they come in contact with.

I just knew this deadly flu virus thing was going to be well done. I can hardly wait till we hear the amazing name from the CDC. Such and exciting time.:sarcasm:
 
I don't care if Aiden insists the man who tried to kill Hope was an imposter. There was a point when the real Aiden was completely aware of what he was doing, and he did consider killing her. He never once tried to warn her of anything, regardless of what Andre was holding over his head.

And we never really found out exactly what he was holding over his head, other than knowing he owed people money. I won't be surprised if the writers try to sweep all this under the rug, but it won't be erased for me. I didn't trust him then, and I sure won't be trusting him this time either.

Bringing him back is idiotic. There is no place for him in Hope's life anymore, not to mention his deranged son. I still say there is more to their story from their secretive past. And I'm still not sure he didn't really kill his wife, instead of Chase. I just hope Rafe protects her and proves that Aiden was and is nothing but a fraud.

I mean how do we know that the Aiden who shows up this time around isn't going to turn out to be the real fake Aiden? Andre already warned her that she and Rafe would pay for what they've done. Maybe this is the beginning of his plan.
 
Aiden had tons of gambling debts, and the loan shark was giving him a hard time. That is what caused him to tell Hope and get $100,000 from her. Well, Stefano & Andre' paid off the loan shark, so now Aiden owed THEM the money. Andre' threatened the life of Aiden's son, if the debt was not paid. Aiden was already planning on marrying Hope, so thought he could get the money, but since he borrowed already from her, it seemed that her insurance policy was the only way he could really get the money. Andre & Stefano were making him choose between his propective wife and his son. ..
It is possible that Aiden was going to tell the cops, and that would be blackmail & extortion..so the doppleganger was put there instead. Or....he intended to only drug her, make her appear dead to appease the DIMeras, but then Bo appeared......oh, who knows? Am sure the explanation will be lame. LOL

I'm actually really looking forward to Aiden's return. The "end" of his time last go around was a bit off, but I liked how the relationship between Aiden and Hope, as well as their kids, had been developing and thought it had great potential. I think if written well, they could be a good couple for some actual romance!

I just cannot find anything engaging about a Hope/Rafe coupledom, even though I've most always enjoyed the work of both of the individual actors in other storylines. I began watching when Kristian Alfonso (Hope) first came onto the show, so I've seen quite a few! And, I will always be a fan of Rafe and Sami as a couple. At any rate, I'm so glad that Daniel Cosgrove (Aiden) is returning and am looking forward to (and hopeful for!) the characters of Hope and Aiden rekindling a real romance.
 
I'm happy to have Aiden back. I thought it was a pretty crappy ending with a lot of unresolved plot points, and I'm hoping that him coming back ties up some of those threads.

Plus, Chase needs a parent who actually gives a crap what he's up to, who can get him some therapy or something.

I don't mind if its romantic between Aiden and Hope or not, there's plenty of drama either way, and if it means less awkward 'romance' scenes with Rafe and Hope then that's a nice bonus.

Who's jacket is missing? Steve's or Joey's? Why would Joey take Steve's jacket? Why would Joey's jacket be missing automatically equal a runaway? Maybe it was cold and he took a jacket to school? Seems like a weird spoiler.
 
I think I've got this Aiden thing figured out. There is a spoiler about Aiden paying Andre a visit. Well I think it turn out that the returned Aiden will be the imposter and this imposter will turn out to be none other than .... Stefano!!

You see Stefano had been growing a replacement body somewhere in the catacombs beneath the mansion. The reason why he laughed when Hope shot him was because he knew that his soul would inhabit a younger healthier body. And not just any body but the exact replica of the man who married and tried to kill her. What a brilliant, fiendish.... What's that you say? This is "Days of Our Lives" and not "Passions?" Oh heh, well in that case never mind then.

Hey, they did that on an episode of Golden Girls. WAS funny. LOL

I absolutely HATED Passions.....& yes, I know some folks just loved it. Not me. No, I never watched it, but had, at one time, to moderate a Passions board, so......well, got to know a lot, and it was not good. LOL
