SPOILER !! Week Aug 22

I know there was some speculation....well, not speculation, more or less the thought that Hope's shot missed Stefano, and someone behind her (silencer) fired the fatal shot. However, if I am not mistaken, Hope fired twice, and there WAS that closeup of the bullet hole after. Now, it still could have been someone else, I suppose, as Hope was just not even thinking straight at that point. It was a way to NOT have Hope be the shooter, but there is still the whole garbage of the coverup....

That said,. I was scouting around for spoilers, and gosh, there was a board where I would defy anyone to find something said that was not negative, nasty, mean, etc. Made no difference if it was story, character, actor, writer, producer, hair, makeup, wardrobe.....lol, just everything was hated. Actually, since most claim not to watch the show at all, I was surprised they bothered posting. LOL. So thank you all...I know we get disappointed at times, and make negative comments, but we do make postive a lot as well.

I wonder if any of the escaped prisoners will "escape", or be pardoned, or get off for good behavior, etc. (Where is Dr. Baker? Why isn't he out by now...:) ) I also wonder if Brady & Theresa ever get hitched??

Xander I feel is the only one who may get pardoned as he went to jail for a crime he never committed. Though I think trying to kill Theresa may be something that will get him put back in the slammer.

I'm going to also go on board with the speculation that Hope may confess to killing Stefano and end up on trial. Of course I see Aiden blackmailing Hope into a relationship. However I think Hope will deny him and go to jail.

With Belle gone by then I'm sure Justin would be next to use as the token lawyer. There was lots of spoilers about a court room storyline and a "tough female cell mate" was to be cast so this leads me to believe Hope will spend some time behind bars.
 
Belle could possibly leave to "take a break & think", work on a case, whatever, but not be gone long, and return. But I agree that I think Belle will not be actually GONE.

Claire and Theo use her new song to find comfort in the wake of tragedy and come together in a kiss. [Good move, Theo. Teen Ciara was never the girl for you.]

Jennifer wakes up horrified to discover Belle and Kayla in the motel room. [It could be worse, Jenny. You could wake up to find Jeannie T. and Anne Milbauer laughing at you.]

Theresa, Brady, and John track down the woman who took Tate to Chicago, and manages to get her to confess that Victor was behind the kidnapping. [Roman, once again your cops have been out-performed by civilians. Doesn't this ever make you feel bad?]

Rafe and Roman both worry that Aiden will uncover the truth that Hope killed Stefano. [Yes, gentlemen, this is something to worry about, but it's also something to marvel at -- a Salem D.A. actually getting to the bottom of a crime. Justin and ex-D.A. Woods will be green with envy.]

Deimos tells Nicole that he will stop at nothing to help Victor. [At least you're consistent in one area, Deimos. Actually helping Victor is a real switch, but "stop at nothing" is right in character for you.]

Jason, let's give both Nicole and Dr. Baker a break. Nicole needs a medical miracle that will allow her to have her own baby instead of the spawn of Deimos and Chloe. And let's leave Dr. Baker out of the swap. Hasn't the poor man suffered enough? He's still rotting in jail while his accomplice, mugger and murderer Hope, roams free. If Dr. Baker is too return to Salem, how about making him the hero who performs medical miracles that would make Dr. McScruffy jealous.

Orpheus kidnaps Belle, the daughter of John and Marlena, ooohh I like that and see the revenge point in that. Would make sense if Shawn is back alone first perhaps he leaves somewhere to find Belle and returns.

I'm still wondering if these jail break threesome will be wandering about for months? If that's the case I wonder if Clyde has something to do with Abigail's disappearance.

IF Hope confesses.....I can only imagine what this would do to Theo. A possible hatred vendetta against the Bradys?

Didn't we see the Ciara-Chad spoiler for Wednesday also? I don't need to see that more than one day.

@No1_ILoveLucyFan I'm with you on Orpheus kidnapping Belle but as we've discussed on twitter I think there was evidence of Martha Madison (Belle) being back long before those 2 tweets. I still go back to that SOD blind item in late April saying that 2 characters being fired was premature. Shortly after that, we heard about Brandon Beemer (Shawn) being back on set taping.

Then the John-Paul Lavosier (Philip) interview with Michael Fairman in June where he spoke about Belle and Shawn in the present tense, as if they were on set.

Maybe too many mystery movies for me but I think we've all solved this one successfully! :)

This isn't as far fetched as it sounds. What are the other options? Mami? She can follow cookbook recipes, so maybe she could follow the directions in Dr. McScruffy's Guide to Tabletop Surgery. Aiden? Maybe he's picked up a quickie Salem Med School M.D. degree so he can use "Hi, I'm a doctor and a lawyer" as a pick-up line. Deimos? Who knows what he learned in that Greek prison. Teen Ciara? In Salem, maybe a few days of volunteering at Shady Hills qualifies her. And of course, there's always one of the talented Horton Cabin Raccoons.
