SPOILER !! Week of Jan 9

I actually think that a Brady/Lani pairing is possible as Brady seems to attach himself to women who have ample amounts of baggage. Lani has a lot of carrying to do! :rotfl:

It seems like a lot of gloom this January and a lot of cold storylines. It could be just me feeling the weather. I was about to say how many relatives is Jennifer going to tell Thomas about who put the "Horror" in Horton. (Nick and Jeremy come to mind mainly). And well the other meaning can apply to some of the males in the Horton family as well, just saying. LOL! I wonder if David Banning's character will be mentioned more here to lead into the Valerie/Eli storyline.

I have a hunch, a speculation, Lani will be after JJ for a bit and feel rejected because of JJ's love for Gabi in which she might obsess. Eli might be the guy who picks up all the pieces for Lani or yes I could see Brady going after Lani for a bit. Since Brady can't stay single for a minute and goes after the most broken woman after he was just hurt. It started with Chloe who had leukemia and had just found out who her mother was after being in foster homes. Then it just went too Nicole, Arianna, Kristen, and Theresa.

That's actually not how Brady and Chloe got together. He was crushing on her before the leukemia diagnosis and she was his first relationship since coming back from boarding school as a SORASed character. They were involved in a triangle with Philip initially until Chloe chose Brady.

According to the explanation at the time, because Chloe was so involved with opera over in Europe, rehearsals, tours, etc. Brady got in with a bad crowd, & began using. If I remember right, Victor had him taken to some rehab center. Chloe, when she came to Salem, said someone broke into their apt., it was trashed, Brady gone.

It was all very weird at the time, but when we finally did see Brady, he was just out of rehab, which evidently was here in the U.S. What I remember most was it was Eric Martsolf's intro as Brady, and he had NO interaction with Chloe. That was very strange. Finally, they had something of a one minute scene in the Pub. That was it.

I didn't like the way they did that at all. Brady and Chloe were favorites of mine before their breakup. In fact, I haven't much liked him with anybody else since then. I wondered how the new Brady actor (Eric Martsolf? I don't keep up with the actors' names) would be with Chloe, then once when she was in the hospital for something, he went to see her and I thought the two of them would do well together.

I really thought the present Brady & Chloe would do well together, so it surprised me when that did not happen. I don't know or cannot remember who the headwriters were, there is such a game of musical chairs with them, but they had Brady embarking on a romance with newbie, Madison, killed her off, then, of all things, Kristen (Horrible) and of late, Theresa, and I just never thought they were a "go".

I think part of the problem might be that the actor is older that Brady was supposed to be, which could possibly be why they paired him initially the way they did.

The other thing is...I think most viewers really liked the "young love" thing between Brady & Chloe, especially the duets. There were quite a lot of them, but those were the days when Days could afford to pay royalties. LOL Then they wrote both actors off the show, and made a mess of the returns.

That was probably the worst Chloe/Brady introduction in 2007. Brady on drugs and that fairy tale we all saw was like rewritten and Nicole made out to be Brady's only love. I am sure Days had lost viewers over such rewriting.

I didn't like the way they did that at all. Brady and Chloe were favorites of mine before their breakup. In fact, I haven't much liked him with anybody else since then.

:clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap:

I know this show does a lot of things that make you scratch your head but this really had to be one of the worst. Brady has basically been an entirely new character since he was recast. They may as well have just cast him as someone else and then waited for Kyle Lowder (ex-Brady) to return. As it is, he hardly interacts with his family outside of Victor. That was never the case before the recast. Paul has basically taken on the role that Brady should have.

And I think the actors who play Brady and Chloe are still close in age. I think there is less than 10 years between them and they certainly look good together on-screen.

I actually think Brady and Chloe part 2 can be great for 2017. Even though, yes, Theresa may come back in the picture, would be nice to revisit that at least once. I don't see Nicole leaving Deimos yet until the news of Xander being alive hits. But I think Eric is being saved for Nicole perhaps.

What about spoiled brat fool Theo? I am so sick of his attitude! I hope daddy actually punishes him. I also want this whole Chloe and Nancy thing over. I cannot wait until Nicole learns the the truth. I want to see her slap Nancy for stealing Holly away from her real mother.

I thought Carrie and Austin were sticking around because I read about a story involving their son?
